Who makes it to the 9th region tourney?

Featured Replies

IMO, here are the district champs and runner ups.

33rd: Boone Co over St. Henry

34th: Dixie over Villa Madonna

35th: Holmes over Cov Cath

36th: Highlands over Bellevue

33rd- Boone, St Henry

34th- Dixie, Villa Madonna

35th- Holmes, Covcath

36th- Highlands, Bellevue

Now if that happens, with the first team listed being the winners, I'd look for the following matchups:

Upper Bracket

Holmes v Bellevue

Dixie v St Henry

Lower Bracker

Boone v Covcath

Highlands v Villa Madonna

Bellevue???

Bellevue and Dayton play, the winner is in the 36th district finals.

I'm willing to predict the 33rd will not play out like it is expected to.

Im right with you, I would not be shocked at all to see Conner playing Ryle in the championship even though I believe it will be Boone and The Cru. One thing is for sure though, I never liked playing Conner on their home floor in the tournament, whether it was districts or regionals, they seemed to always be dangerous.

They REALLY need to seed that district.

Okay since Bellevue has beaten Villa and it looks like Villa will make the region..........why does "that" district need to be seeded but not the Villa district?

I'm right with you. Although I believe it will be Boone and St. Henry, Conner is always a dangerous team on their home floor. I remember them knocking off Covcath to advance to the region championship in 05 on their home floor.

It is left up to each district to decide whether or not they want to "seed" or "draw"

That was sarcasm about several people who have complained on various threads about Bellevue/Dayton but not Villa OC I thin kwe are all aware of teh seed vs draw decision

I think we should have someone blindfolded and throw darts at a map:p

MC that would do justice as much as the way districts are drawn up anyway. Remember the good old days when you had the maps of NCC and Holmes together and Highlands Scott and Brossart together................Any state that does not have Bourbon Co. and Paris in the same district...................Dixie and Covcath not in the same district.....oh I forgot Holmes and CovCath are so much closer than the 3 Dixie Highway schools
