I watched Hazard play in the Lex Cath tournament after Xmas. Just wondered how they made it to the state tournament?

Know the kid well, great player and great kid. Got to know him and Ashley Hatfield through the AAU program.

Clark has some guards that should be able to fill in next year. They have Christian Brewer, who saw limited time this season but can play, a couple of guards from the jv and a frosh guard. Most of them lack varsity experience but in time should do fine. They need to work hard this summer and play as much as possible on AAU. Just have to wait and see.

His scoring doesn't impress me as much as his penetration and hitting the open person.

Middleton is a very good point guard.

You know and I know that Mason had the best draw. In the semi's Mason cruised to an easy win getting to rest half the game using their subs and Clark had a hard fight beating Scott ,not getting any rest or using subs. It has nothing to do with how many points Mason beat Scott during the season.We're talking about back to back games.

Mason Co always has and always will. Elliott will have everyone there also.

Sugar Daddy is one big Mason Co. supporter. But I do agree with him in that the 10 region did not have the atmosphere as it does playing in the 10 th region gyms. Personally, I did not care for the two regional finals in the same gym, the same night: It just doesn't seem right and near as exciting. thumb::ylsuper:

I stayed until half and the score was 12-12. What a boring game. I would rather see grass grow than that..Back some time ago during the regionals , we would start on Wed afternoon, Have one game, clear the gym , go eat and come back for the night game. Do the same on Thurs to end the first round. On Fri, semis and finals Sat night. That's what I enjoyed.

IMO, the tournament should begin on a Wednesday and end on Saturday. The regional finals on a Tuesday night just doesn't seem right.

Robert Hatton has been a very good ball player for the Cardinals. He has been a starter for the last three years and will be greatly missed. Experience is something that is very hard to replace. Robert was a great three point shooter, had the ability to drive to the basket either scoring or drawing the foul. He was also a very good free throw shooter. He averaged over 16 points per game this year and also played good defense and had a lot of steals. He is an excellent student with a perfect 4point standing. He never got all the recognition he deserved .He has made his parents, family and GRC very proud. I wish him the best.:ylsuper:

A Mason Co poster on here said last week that his wife ask him "why does everyone dislike Mason. Co". After reading all the comments made by Mason Co. people on here , I think everyone understands why. The Mason Co. kids are great but the fans are sonething else.:ylsuper::taz:
