Explain.

The rules state you cannot finish with less than 3 players, thus the forced forfeit not chosen. The only players in Deming's locker room were 3 seniors. That is all that is held out for varsity.

The JV stopped due to Deming not having enough players to continue. The game ended after Deming could only put two on the floor due to an injury and everyone else fouling out. It is interesting to note they were ahead even after playing a few minutes with 4 and 3 on the floor.

Fleming showed a lot of class last night pressing in the fourth quarter while they were up 54 points. I guess that has come to be expected of their coach.

Deming and Augusta at Deming for Saturday is cancelled. Apparently there are downed power lines on Deming School grounds.

Boy/Girl double header and homecoming cancelled.

Coach Perry is a class act. I offer prayers for her and her family and hope to see her back on the sidelines again after this season.

Prewrap is supposed to be the beige color. I have seen all officials enforcing the headband rule. I don't think they like to, but they do it anyway. In addition, the band can only contain one logo. Not several of the same, but one. This one I think is being missed sometimes.

I agree with both statements devilman. I wonder where that team is too. Secondly, I LOVE the new smilie. It is a necessity for some things on BGP. I wonder how we ever got along without it. :deadhorse:

I was very disappointed in Deming's defense and blocking out. Harrison dominated the boards. This was not the Deming team I am used to seeing. I also didn't appreciate the disrespect shown to the coach.

Fleming County is a tough ball team. Give them the credit for the win. I think the score should have been closer and would not have been surprised if Bracken Co. had won. Fleming County's defense is pretty tough. Any team that is not twice as good as Fleming is going to have turnovers against it. Combine that with an off night for Bracken and you have the final.

I think Deming is undefeated at home. Great Job!!!!!!!!!!1

Final from Deming. Both teams had trouble scoring. Good defensive effort.

The best from Deming was Scotty Graves back in the 1950s.

According to Deming's schedule they have West Carter Saturday at 3:30. Will be interesting to see how the tournament win leads into this game with one of the "big dogs" of the 16th Region.

The Deming Lady Devils win the Lady Cat Classic at Bath County. Deming led by 20 at the half. The game was never in doubt by the second quarter. Congratulations to the Lady Devils!!!!!!!!!!!! :dancingpa

Coaches have to attend a rules clinic once a year, take a coaching education program once a career, and within that class and test is a KHSAA Bylaw test. The bylaw test is not sport specific though.

Fire alarm is too low for little fingers to reach. Not a big deal, and maybe a nice added touch for how heated it got on the court. Very intense matchup, but too many fouls.

Deming looked pretty good in their preseason scrimmages. Their last couple of games they seem to struggle finding the basket.

I agree with all posters in that it will be close. I am looking for a Bracken win by 1 point in a low scoring game.

Yeah, any other scores?

OR, Can't you or someone else from Paris give us the full results from the day?

Check the khsaa.org website under scoreboards. Many Class A teams already have their matchups posted on their schedule.

:thumb: Most programs would be so much better if this were true.

Once again, not everyone is going to watch 4 games. These families just want to watch their team. Those kids are not going to sit for four games.
