Did Mason's JV play?

Umm that is a tough one! According to the stats James Clark had 48 tds and Lanie Fomas has 44. James career yards rushing are 1547 and Lanie's are 1014. Both were very good RBs. James will always be remembered though, and be a legend for RBs at PHS. He was in that early 80s era. Lanie came along mid late 80s. And when you talk about Paris' RBs, you have to mention Jamale Clark, he was a "Horse". Man was he tough. I can remember him packing Louisville H.Cross defenders down the field on his back. But back in the 70's I think a lot have forgotten this great one, none other then, Manzell Robinson. Manzell is probably one of the "toughest" and best Paris has ever had.And for those that have forgotten, one of the hardest hitters ever at Paris was Donald Ray Frye. (same era) I couldn't leave out the Defense! (my favorite)

Frankfort with another win. Has Frankfort had any "tough" competition thus far, besides FCHS?

And Paris ran it well ! Also, IMO- I personally believe Robert Maggard is the best qb to ever hit the field at Paris High School.

Great post Option Right. I agree. I believe if Paris had more depth, you could flip their record. Paris has always had athletes, and speed. I love the heart that we see from this group of guys. Paris has been plagued with injuries with their key players, but even with that, you have that group that is out there giving it all they got! I think Paris will win the last three games.

I guess maybe there were some on the team at one time that would actually ask the opposing team not tackle them? I had also read where a frustrated dad was complaining that they can't tackle cause they don't practice tackling drills?

I read on another website about a week ago, that their team in the past has asked the other players not to tackle them. I don't know that for fact, but that is what I read from some other bloggers/postings.

My take on it was, if they had fumbled, that would've given Paris good field position, and chance to score before going into the half.

Wonder how many games Alan Cutler has won as a coach? :laugh:

I know our paper will have it out on Wed., if you don't have it by then I will let you know what they say. If I remember correctly seemed to be a lot of holding calls. Our D-ends, were being held a lot from my observation. I thought both teams were hitting hard I saw several helmets fly off during the game. Raceland's O did control the clock- Paris' O seemed to be having difficulties getting it going. Young QB, he'll adjust. But when they do click again, ones will get to see the wheels fly! And I agree with you all about the coaching. Raceland coaches show class. Paris' coach is very intense. Something Paris hasn't seen in awhile. He will be fine... (As long as he gets support). If I was in charge that school would walk to a different beat ! lol

I can't understand how someone/people can go to a game and sit and be idle? I'm getting old and I still get into it.

Paris and Raceland was a tight game up to the half. Paris held Raceland off from running up the score, they were forced to kick a fg. Tiion Thomas ran a (about) 70 yard td for Paris- He was just a orange/black blurr - untouched. Travis Angel, Jeremy Shupe had big night on Defense. I can't remember the specific on Raceland, but I believe it was #20, that had some really nice hard runs. yes Oldrambler Paris will get better. We have a very young QB, a big sophmore class. And Paris is recovering from multiple injuries (key players).

You must have missed why he ran "parents" and non parents off the sideline. Parents interferring and the NON PARENT, that was intoxicated that has nothing to do with the team decided to be 10 ft tall and bullet proof, and was spitting sunflower seeds in his face. Hey I think he handled it pretty well considering I would've knocked his brains out and put him into a coma for some crap like that!f y If you want to support your kids or team or whatever, then do it from the stands with the rest of the fans/parents.

Good post Coach. Keep up the hard work. I look for Paris to come out and play hard. They are hungry for the W! I think if you had more depth on your SL, I think your record would be flipped. You got some tough kids on there that I can see play with all they got. I think some of your guys aren't totally 100%- I wish all a speedy recovery.rry Also sorry you got stuck with this awful non-district schedule. Good luck hounds!!!! Raceland is a great team, and are always coached well. Raceland fans are the best too, they show a lot of class!! BTW- I am KYfan11 just had to add a s, due to lost my account; lightning storm + hit my house + and 1/3 of the county= insurance claim and long wait for my computer!!! For all you doubters, I will never ever fall off a wagon, and my team doesn;t have to be undefeadeted for me to get on here! I don't tuck and run and hide if my team is down, and I have never like others got on here and put their team down- I think I have proved that over the past year(s) I have been on here! I am a true supporter, not a big mouth that only likes to run the mouth, only if my team is winning!
