Pike Central will have NO time to throw and won't be able to gain yardage running. Thats my opinion. This game presents a nice oppurtunity to let Elkins air it out.

PCC has shown some improvement this year. Apparently they have a fairly talented young QB. That said; Belfry - 42 PCC - 6 Pike Central has NEVER beaten Belfry in football.

I think you are correct. Henry Clay has a nice program but no one seems to really care. The rest of the Lexington publics have even less following. Its kinda bizarre IMO.

Thats bologna posted above. Will have to score 5 td's to get 2 or 3 to count? I like Central in a close one. The way they competed with Manual leads me to beleive they are physical enough to play a good Mountain team, and we all know they are explosive with athleticism.

As a Belfry fan... you will get no argument from me. I guess I just see this as a nice little jab for Mountain football. AND, I honestly see it as a GOOD win for Beechwood. Prestonsburg has a good program. This is a win that the beechies can be proud of IMO. But isn't it at Morehead State?

LOL at Guru. There is NO way Beechwood can "spin" a close victory to Prestonsburg at a "big win" After all, how often do we here that 1a football is SO much better than 2a and 3a "at the top?"

Im sure this was a tough game to get mentally prepared for especially on the road. Belfry has good depth, but like most other schools of 3a size, they can't keep losing key players to injury and be successful. I hope the Dotson kid is ok. He is a good player and the Pirates need him at LB. I did not listen to the game as I watched the Cats instead. That sucked

How big is #57 for Belfry? What grade is he in?

He already starts OJW. BTW, I think Dustin would be an excellent TE at the next level.

Belfry's starters played the first series after halftime. They departed after that with the score being 51-0 with 9 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter.

No biggie in terms of the running game (for those two games at least) but who will fill his LB spot?

Fantastic. Thanks Watusi. I love that Brooks and staff are really efforting to find PLAYERS, not just 40 times. Dustin has a great frame, good football IQ and is athletic.
