Someone on the 8th region thread ranked all the teams from best to worst. Can anyone who has good knowledge of the 9th region do the same? Thanks...

Last year was Bath Co., Ludlow, and Lloyd. Maybe two of them are returning???

I would consider Brossart NKY.

Conner is too good to lose this game. I have been very impressed with them this year! I haven't seen DH, but I just can't see Conner losing this one...

I think this will be a shoot out and I look for Conner to come out on top.....

Could someone please rank the NKY catholic schools for me. I know NDA is probably a unanimous 1st, but how do they shake up after that? Thanks...

I know nothing about either, I was just trying to make sure the right team got discussed. I am sure it was a cut and paste error. How big is Holy Cross?

I am sure that a coach like Coach Stamm does a good job of promoting his players for the next level. I am sure she will get some looks as the season goes on. There is no question she is one of the better players in NKY.

I agree, the Lady Juggs have the hopes to have a good season in front of them. Coach Tharp did a good job with what he had and now they should continue over with the new coach. A .500 or above is possible...

Since we are getting so technical with each other, I would probably say that the bench player should be included also.... :thumb:

With her and Coach Stamm, I think they are in great position to win the 33rd District and be at the top of Region 9.

I just re-read what I wrote and I wasn't trying to bag on Beechwood. I hope they have a good season. I was just trying to point out that I agreed they must have held out some good players for the score to be tied with Goshen. Also the fact you can't put too much into pre season scores. The browns just smacked the packers the other night and I think most would agree if it was regular season the score would be different....

I hate to be Johnny Raincloud, but I would hope that Beechwood had a lot of good players sitting. I am from Ohio and Goshen is not that good. They will be around .500 playing schools that are smaller than themselves. But it is just a scrimmage and you can't put a lot into the results. I see Beechwood is ranked #5 in the NKY poll and Goshen didn't even get a point in the DII-DIV poll. Anytime Goshen has put up a good record, and made the playoffs (not too often), it is one and done because they play in the weakest confernce in SW Ohio (SBC).

It's all about playoff points. While Trinity would give a lot of points if they win, they aren't going to take the chance. They will schedule light to make sure they make the playoffs every year. They are the top of the GMC (although it will be more competitive at the top this year), but typically roll right through it. They gain nothing by playing Trinity.... And no I am not a Cardinal fan, I am a GCL guy....

Who are the teams to beat? Who will be better? Who will be worse due to graduation or loss of players? Please be positive and constructive...

They have a good coach and have a big school. They should always be competitive...

I may be wrong but if the kid has varsity experience, doesn't the AD. Have to signa release or they sit out a year? I hope nothing is wrong with this young lady and her situation and I hope whatever is best for her happens....

I don't have adog in the fight but it seems like way too often players from Ryle, Conner, and Cooper transfer to BC. In Ohio you must change residence or sit out a year...that would be one frustrating district to coach in...I know it's old news but just a head scratcher to me....

With all these supposed transfers to BC, Coach Stamm just sits back and licks his chops. With Ryle getting weaker and Cooper being down, his road to regionals just gets easier!

This is like the third thread that names kids transferring to Boone County. How does this keep happening? It happens here in Ohio with certain coaches, but at some point doesn't someone have to stand up to it?

I meant no offense by "over there", just in talking, NKY is "over there" instead of "over here"....talking about the river dividing us that's all....sorry if I offended you!

So basically it just gives you some schools you are supposed to play, but really doesn't mean anything. It is all about the Districts over there right?
