  1. I look for a close game,Paintsville has played some quality opponent's and it should make them tougher,Raceland will start playing a little bit tighter as the season moves along staying undefeated.May come down to a last possesion game.
  2. This game will tell a lot to the coaching staff as well i think. They did play evenly with Ashland till the last quarter of the game and Ashland will be the best team they will play in the regular season. The players have had enough time to get the debacle of the Ashland game out of there system and come out fighting and get on a good roll to end the regular season.
  3. Should be a good game, depends on which team shows up to play.Dont think either team is really over powering, will see what the Devil's are made of,contender's or pretender's.........
  4. Devil's played with a lot more enthusiasm, made the plays when they had to.Need to keep working and improving weekly to get ready for playoff's.Must improve pass defense or will be in deep trouble.
  5. The Devil's better step it up and play with a lot more heart and desire or they could be in for a long night.
  6. If you watch closely, you can see him dragging the Raceland player on the ground as he is pulling his foot away, not even close to a personal foul
  7. How can you say that is not a game changer considering when it happened and losing a reciever?
  8. Wow,the kid was trying to get back to run the next play,no way in the world was that a kick. The Raceland kid was holding on to slow him down and he just pulled his foot away......That was horrible to say the least!
  9. may not want to check back on the first of Nov.,may be another disappointment for the orange nation.....
  10. I believe that was the thinking last year as well......
  11. Look fo LCA to score early and not look back, 35 - 14 LCA win.
  12. Ashland always get's fired up for the devil's,but think they come up short. To many big playmaker's for the devils... 28-20 Russell
  13. When Russell was in the power I they were running the ball down Breathitt's throat, then they went away from that also.Just cant figure out the whole night for the Russell offense.Belfry run the power I and mix throwing the ball will run over Breathitt in my opinion.
  14. Whoever wins, which i definitely think Belfry will. I wish you a lot better weather than Russell has had the last two years in Louisville. It can make a very big difference in the game. Was just miserable trying to enjoy the game.Good luck to both teams friday night.
  15. Belfry will have to be able to run the ball with everyone from Breathitt in the box,or throw the ball to loosen them up. If Russell had thrown the ball more to spread them out they could have done much better running the ball. Belfry wins 35-14
  16. Russell had a great year ater losing the kids they have the last 2 years.Very proud of them, exceeded my expectations coming into this year........HOLD YOUR HEAD HIGH DEVILS.......GREAT YEAR !!!!!
  17. :laugh:Maybe they should cancel the rest of the 3 A playoffs and just give them the trophy......LOL Good luck to both teams tonight and hope they come out injury free...
  18. 36 degree's now and getting down to 24................
  19. Belfry is very solid team, but you just never know.A injury or weather can make a big difference in a game, really dont know how any of the teams will respond if gets real cold since none of them have had to deal with it so far. There really is not a weak team in the 4 left in this bracket, any of the 4 could play for and win the title.......Thats what makes high school football so exciting.
  20. I think it will be a very good game, will be cold and field will be a little slippery. The team that can limit turnovers will come out on top.Think it is two very good teams pretty evenly matched. One turnover could be the end of there season........
  21.:laugh:Someone has been hitting the juice a little early.......:thumb:
