  1. What an exciting game!!!
  2. I can't get either to work!
  3. The stadium looks a lot like Ryle's. The field looked pretty good for being new and having all of yesterday's rain. What really impressed me was the fan support that the Cooper team had. Even with being down they were supportive and enjoyed the effort that their team was putting forth. I wish the best for this team and their players. I can't wait to see this rivalry build.
  4. Yes, Chris is number 7 and he is a tackle. Sorry for the misinformation earlier on his position. He is something special on the field though.
  5. Chris Brzinski from Ryle should be one of the best. It is rare to see a defensive end of his size with such speed and a natural feel for the game. It showed in his stats last year and continues each day in practice. I can't wait to watch this young man play this year!
  6. I promise that West won. I was really there.
  7. I have to second this. Coach Clary is an excellent young man with a love for the game. He takes his position very seriously and is proud of his team. Good luck this year Ludlow!:thumb:
  8. I was at the game and thought the two of the three T fouls were uncalled for. The first was for slapping the backboard while trying to block a shot and the second for forcibly slamming the ball after the first technical foul was called. This was done out of frustration and was projected towards his disappointment in himself not the call. I think Ryle is judged harder by officials because of their history. Their perceived toughness has a price and unfortunately tough calls are one byproduct that they must live with or change the preception of the officals as a group. You can't have it both ways.
  9. The Eagles played a close first half. They were outplayed the second half though. I saw a few decent players on Scotts team and they played with heart. It was the first time I have watched them this year. I was not impressed with the head coach at all. Good luck to the Eagles and I wish them the best of luck. Go RYLE!!!!!
  10. I keep telling you we are the Bluebirds, not personal "fowls"!
  11. Checking the forecast for the week it looks like the field will be pretty wet this Friday night. It must be tough to have to count on perfect conditions to play well. I hope for a Ryle win but expect a hard fought game. Good luck to both teams and let the winning team bring home a state title to Northern Kentucky!!
  12. I have only watched Boone once this year when they played Owensboro. They were not able to contain the run against a much smaller O line than Ryle has and with a much smaller running back. That night Farris had a good game but was held in check. I see Ryle getting the win this week 28-24. Good luck to both teams and may both quality running backs come out healthy!
  13. Were we the same game? I thought there were two passes for touchdowns and they seemed to move the ball a few times with the pass. I'm not saying that Ryle has solved their passing game problems but with such a high powered running game do they need to be extremely profiicient to have a successful season? Schmits was over 200 yards rushing for the night and has over 1000 yards for the season. Producing scores in the air seems to me to be icing on the cake.
  14. Steven Van Name from Ryle. 6'3, 315 lbs. tackle transfer from Florida
