  1. Lynn Camp should win their first one and may give Hazard a game for 2 quarters.
  2. Frankfort isn't top 10, watched them at Williamsburg who I would say is 9 or 10.
  3. Wburg beats number 9 by 20 and drops, makes no sense to me.
  4. Troy always sits over there on his golf cart just to make sure fans don't get in the way of those on playing field, he's a semi retired cop that is currently SRO at the school. But he's never met a stranger.
  5. The hold on Frankfort TD was a bad call. Frankfort had a couple of late hits out of bounds that didn't help, both sides seemed to get a bit chippy in the fourth quarter. That said Frankfort secondary didn't stop Wburg at all. Frankfort only stopped Wburg on 3 drives all night.
  6. Williamsburg isn't going away, they are gonna give Pikeville and Hazard a run for their money come November this year.
  7. I would drop Pikeville to 7 move everyone else up a spot and 10 is a wild card anyone of a dozen teams could wind up being 10th. There is a pretty big gap in the third ranked team and fourth place. 4 through 8 are a lot closer than 3 and 4.
  8. Wburg returning a senior qb that lead 1a in severa statistical categories last year.
  9. In all seriousness this is the toughest I think the 13th has been in a long time. Several teams with big wins against other region contenders.
  10. Throw the records all out the window, after DG night at Clay Saturday they are definitely number 2.
  11. Easiest thing to do is park on depot street and walk the half a mile or so over.
  12. Only lose 2 contributors. Disappointed in how burg played in this one they are better than score shows.
  13. It's gonna be fun, I'm glad after last year we are good enough to compete again.
  14. And I wouldn't say Hazard's offense is better either.
  15. Beating Letcher Central or Perry Central (both 5A) aren't much to write home about in my opinion. Farview may be slightly better than Frankfort, but, Williamsburg had some confidence issues early in the season it seemed to me after losing the first three. Reverse the schedules and I believe Williamsburg is sitting at 9-2 and Hazard is sitting at 7-4. I guess the thing that irks me is most everyone seems very confident Hazard is going to pull this out, and there is just nothing on paper that makes this game seem like a gimme either way. It's the pure definition of toss-up.
  16. I don't understand what Hazard has accomplished to make everyone feel like they are going to come to Williamsburg and win.
  17. I agree completely, I don't believe Hazard would have done any better with Williamsburg's schedule and I believe Williamsburg would be 8-2 with Hazard's schedule.
  18. First round is the busiest night of the season. After that officials are weeded out, unfortunately with no bye week teams and very few that don't make the playoffs creates the busiest Friday night of the year.
  19. No way Hazard wins by 21. This is a 7 to 10 point game either way at best. Williamsburg has played a tougher schedule and for the most part competed in all of them. I don't know who will win but it will be close.
  20. Somerset over Prestonsburg.
  21. I don't disagree they may be slightly better, but that isn't 21 points better. Their record is missing a premier win same as Williamsburg, Somerset and Pikeville are best two teams they've played and they lost both games.
  22. 6 to 10 point game either way. Neither of these teams will win by 3 scores in my opinion. Somerset scores between both teams were very similar scores. Hazard did handle Pineville easier, but rivalry game with district title potentially on the line I think adds a difference there. Williamsburg is hitting their grove, by no means do I think they are world beater but I think they are there with Hazard. They've won the last 4 games by an average of over 20 points, offense is starting to click more.
  23. I guess you realize in that game Williamsburg got inside the 5, 3 times to come away with a combined 3 points, which isn't good, but also isn't likely to happen a second time, and that their quarterback was out for a few series in the second quarter.
