  1. Anyone know the score of this one? Was hoping kids from jenkins could pick up a win tonight.
  2. I would imagine the policy board might be a good place to start.
  3. Lynn Camp 35 Pineville 12. Pineville started year off well, but have been falling apart as of late.
  4. Williamsburg 49 Harlan 12 Williamsburg continues their district dominance. They’ve lost exactly 2 district games in the previous ten years.
  5. Dalton Cook at Lynn Canp is having a heck of a year. Competition leaves a bit to be desired but he’s running well against everyone that’s been put in front of him.
  6. I’ve got Williamsburg at 6, other than that I agree completely. 5-10 are all pretty close if you put them on the field.
  7. I was there for the birth of Clinton County football around 2005/2006 as a student at Cumberland’s officiating games, me and a couple of other guys were sent there non stop for a JV only schedule that first year. This year is the first year of kids to go all through school with the high school having a team, it’s way too early to say time to fold up, you ask me they are just now finding their stride!
  8. Bye clearly edits the tapes of them that make it out to not let too much get away. What is sad about this is the fact that Bye won’t even let the other team film them. They keep absolute control of who has what of their game field. It’s in the contract to play everytime. You ask me, Julian needs to step in and do something about this NOW!!!
  9. Having seen both, I can tell you Lynn Camp won’t beat Williamsburg. The Camp is improved, but their schedule has left them I’ll prepared for district games.
  10. If Hazard takes that attitude they very well could get beat at Williamsburg in the second round. Hazard will be favored over the Burg, but if they go in overlooking them it will not be a good night for them.
  11. I was at North Laurel’s field a few weeks ago for a JV game it it had huge mud spots then, I’m sure it’s a disaster by now.
  12. How many players does Bye have? They seem to be playing multiple teams around the state every week at the same time!?!? I’m not even sure how that is ok with KHSAA?
  13. District and region seem to be Pikeville’s to lose. Hazard and Williamsburg could pull a shocker, but Pikeville looks like the team this year to me. I suspect this game will be a close one, but in part I believe Pikeville may keep some tricks up their sleeves for a playoff rematch.
  14. Lynn Camp will likely win, but they won’t win their district. One playoff win then loss to Pikeville/Hazard. Their schedule unfortunately won’t prepare them for post season.
  15. When an entire thread is dedicated to whether or not the refs will cheat Beechwood on here, it's easy to see why that might happen.
  16. Knowing pretty much all the officials in the 13th region association, I can assure you this is garbage. I'm not a Corbin fan, but reality is they are really good especially lately, and have a tremendous home field atmosphere. Also, since 2016 the only teams to play at Corbin that should have/could have beat them were Alcoa, Belfry and Louisville Central. Alcoa went right down to the end, they beat Central by a td, then won at Central the next year in the state semis, and were blown out by Belfry. So in the 3 tough games they are 2-1 at home and of the two wins they beat one of the teams on the road the next year by almost identical scores.
  17. There are at least three teams that have an even chance of beating them in Hazard, Paintsville, and Raceland. Pikeville will have a tougher than average second round game in Lynn Camp or Williamsburg (likely won't lose to either, but it won't be a cakewalk to the region finals). They are the early favorite, but they are not miles ahead of the first three I named.
  18. 1-5 then everyone else, I believe you could make a case for any of top 5 teams to be in any order and same for 6-10. I believe there is a decent gap between 5 and 6 though and barring something crazy your final two will all come from the current top 5.
  19. Pineville is better than expected, and Paris has to ride on what will be at least a 2.5 if not 3 to 3.5 hour bus ride to play the game. Stranger things have happened when you sit on a bus that long early in the season.
  20. The reality is, some of the guys with the worst programs in 1a may be some of the best coaches. Most 1a coaches get more out of each kid they coach than the coaches at larger schools that just move on to the next kid if one isn't cutting it.
  21. We clearly watched different games then. That fumble just before the half was obvious missed call and big difference down 27-21 than 27-14.
  22. When you put it in quotations it carries a level of condescension to it. Without the quotations I probably would not have read as much in to it.
