  1. Where was this and what accommodations if any were give ?
  2. Dang it, so much for another riveting debate lol.
  3. I’ve noticed more immaturity like this on here lately, I miss the old days, frankly I never went to the other site because for years BGP has avoided these kind of comments, hope mods reel a few in.
  4. This is the best lineup top to bottom we've had in years.
  5. I had the WYMt broadcast on and they didn’t have any angles where you could really see live, you could see the receivers feet were down and didn’t come up, but no way to tel from our angle if feet were inbounds or not.
  6. I agree completely, but it’s good to see other teams win. Trinity will be right back in the hunt next year.
  7. Glad to see Trinity our, they’ve dominated too much lately, not good for any one team to be that dominate, especially a private school.
  8. Much like the writer was dead on for the perfect movie in the Last Jedi, your dead on for perfect preseason rankings here Les.
  9. I think that is a big problem with that one, too many officials assume what the coach wants in that situation. Now obviously in a one possession game the team behind wants the clock stopped, but sometimes it's not so clear.
  10. Ya I didn’t know it until earlier in the year watching a training DVD where it was called. I’ve never been brace enough to call it, but have seen plenty of times where someone is beat and like you said just tackles them to avoid giving up the TD.
  11. It’s newer, but wasn’t this year, I don’t remember what year they added that in.
  12. That was the first state final game I ever attended, crazy amazing game!
  13. In the final minutes the offended team can choose if clock starts or stops after false start/encroachment.
  14. Art. 10 explanation in the first photo is where you find it in the rules.
  15. I think most people coaches included don’t know about it, which certainly add to a hesitation to call it but it’s there under the penalties for rule 7 and in the chart on pass interference at the end of rule 7.
  16. For the most part I’ve enjoyed the Belfry/Boyle pass interference video discussion. On that note I wanted to discuss a little known and almost never called rule about intentional pass interference. Per the rules in Kentucky if an official seems the act of the offender to be intentional pass interference the rules allow for an additional 15 yards to be tacked on making the penalty a 30 yard penalty. Just curious about people’s thoughts on this and if anyone has actually seen it called.
  17. I’ll always pull for Raceland after sideinedoc hooked me up with the good seats for Marshall a few years ago when we made the trip up there.
  18. I would imagine the Chicago suburbs/Gary IN teams dominate but I have nothing to really base that on.
  19. I’m not calling Boyle County so you need not worry. Although I did call in postseason this year, just the way it worked out our association didn’t get any third round games this year. Some years we get two or three some years none just depends. And in the best photo here it looks like the receiver has his hands back towards the line of scrimmage lined up right with the ball so yes it’s underthrown. I get you are a Boyle fan but most any official will tell you that can go either way on that call. As I stated earlier too that is a call that is that HL’s call on a 5 man crew but on a 7 man like was used in this game his key is the TE. Which is another problem I have with it, but that’s a problem with going from 5 man to 7 man arbitrarily like KHSAA is doing this year. Most crews work a 7 man a couple of times a year then get late in playoffs and get the routine shaken up.
