I would say the score is a little closer than last year but Hazard wins in the end. I'll say 28-20 something in that range.

I would say that goes for either team. Mayfield should be very confident about winning this game, but if they come out and blink and are down 14-0 you could wind up shell shocked enough that you don't get going until the 3rd quarter or worse.

I'd love to see Wayne do it, but no way it will happen.

Game should be played on Friday. Plan wiser in the future, if you really want to help the school you will do it whether you attend the fundraiser or not.

Someone tell me about Pineville are they a young team or an upper class lead team? I'm just trying to figure out if they will be back next year or if this is a flash in the pan.

Pineville @ Hazard could be a good matchup, not sure what happened the first time around but Pineville played Hazard a lot closer than I would have guessed.

I'm not sure Dayton ever had it "together" to fall apart. They finished the year 3-8, with several blowout losses.

Pineville is picking up steam here at the end of the season, I'd be curious to know how young a team they are? Will this end be something to build on or is this a flash in the pan?

Just a lot people in town unhappy with him and it goes beyond wins and losses.

I wouldn't be shocked if this was the last game Jewell coached at Corbin.

I'd be mildly shocked if Bowling Green won the region championship, state semifinals, and the finals all with a 35-21 score. Be crazy to see 3 straight games with the exact same score, otherwise I agree.

Normally I would agree with you not to compare, but I did make it to a Williamsburg game this year, and they have developed well from middle school on I would imagine. I didn't see them play as a middle school team but to be a team with lots of underclassmen they are very impressive.

Depends on what you are calling an upset. If you mean the home teams winning every game I would say Pineville will at least have a chance to win against Campbellsville.

If Hazard doesn't improve in a hurry they won't be going far in the playoffs.

Jewel's time at Corbin is coming to an end, his childish behavior and the overall shape of the program will be the end of him. I've been told be multiple people in the Varsity Club that a few years ago the Corbin Varsity Club tried to rent charter buses for the team for a game several hours away, coach Jewel told them to cancel it that his team wouldn't be riding on a charter bus, the team made the long bus ride on the school bus and proceeded to lose. I know this ruffled a lot of feathers with the parents and boosters of Corbin and I'm sure this little incident along with not hosting a playoff game will only make things worse for him.
