nWo
As of this morning, it seems that the heat indices have moderated some. Still, everyone should be careful if you will be outdoors this afternoon and on Tuesday afternoon. It appears that some relief from the dry conditions is on the way. Today those in northern Kentucky into southern Ohio and southern Indiana could see some scattered strong storms. The Storm Prediction Center has those areas in a category 1 Marginal Risk Area. Tuesday evening seems to be the best chance to see a more organized chanced of strong to severe storms in most of Kentucky. Parts of Kentucky southeast of a line from around Bowling Green northeastward to just north of Greenup at the present time are in a category 2 Slight Risk Area. North and west of this line most of Kentucky is in a category 1 Marginal Risk Area for strong to severe storms. I will post an update later today.
