Beechwood 42 Covington Catholic 35
It was very much a role reversal of what we see in the Beechwood Cov Cath game. Beechwood ran the ball and controlled the clock. Cov Cath made big plays to keep it close. It is usually the other way around.

A new record set tonight by Covington Catholic: The fastest a scoreboard has ever been turned off at the end of the game. They did their best to make sure of no pictures of that scoreboard for Tigers fans.

When Beechwood can have success at the LOS against CCH, they have a chance. Tigers offensive line is having some success. Beechwood needs to keep that first half game plan - run focused and short pass game. Colonels offensive line is providing great protection for Courtney. Eviston always wants to run the ball against Beechwood but I would go 75% pass, 25% run the second half if I were Eviston.

Paradigm shift. That history makes it even more important for the Cov Cath kids to beat Beechwood. They do not want to be on "one of those teams" that lost to the Tigers.

I believe 2011. Beechwood HOF'er Cameron Vocke is #42. He went for more than 200 all purpose yards in that game.

One of the most interesting threads on BGP in the past few months.

St. Henry impact on Covington Catholic
From what I know, this year's CCH freshman team is not an indicator of St. Henry impacting CCH. This group has struggled at every level. They were winless as 8th graders last year.

Beechwood has a solid freshman group, but that score says more about CCH than it does Beechwood.

2024 Tigers Every skill player on this 2026 team plus Flaherty at RB, Aylor at RB, Erdman at WR, Cusick at WR and the only difference is Hayden at QB instead of Queen.

How much? A LOT!! Beechwood rarely beats Cov Cath. A win over the Colonels would be huge for the Tigers and Fryman.

Those LB missed tackles are a problem - but no one is surprised. Also bad angles taken by the LBers. Knight is playing his way out of the NFL.

That explains it. Allen played well but he lined up offsides 3 times.
