The undefeated and 2A top ranked Beechwood Tigers host the Gallatin County Wildcats in Ft. Mitchell, kickoff at 7:30.

The Tigers are rolling. The multi faceted and talented offense can score from anywhere on the field at any time.

Gallatin County is struggling through year one under their new head coach and are looking for their first win of the season.

BW beat WV 63-7. WV beat Gallatin 58-0. Coach Rash going to have his hands full in balancing fairness to his varsity starters and trying hard not to embarrass his opponent. This one may have many touchdowns called back by his known request to officials for mythical flags. This guy is deserving of the ultimate respect.

BW’s RPI is in the middle of district game free fall. Afraid that season ending 6A opponent not going to be enough.

The district is actually helping a little this year. They are positioned much better than the last few years. Last year the district had 3 teams in the bottom 10 ...this year just one.

Beechwood needs their previously defeated opponents to start winning games ...SK, Covington Catholic, Dixie ... don't want to imply that the Campbell game is a sure thing but wins from them will help as well.

Currently Gallatin at 0-7 gives a OWP of zero….can’t get lower than that. Bracken’s 2-5 gives BW an OWP of .29 again pretty damaging. Their OOWP I haven’t seen. Campbell’s 3-4 gives BW an OWP of .44 improved by the game value. Unless Camels win a few more the 10th game pickup will maybe not be enough.

Mayfield's next two district opponents each have 2 wins.

LCA plays Danville then faces a team with 2 wins.

O Cath has their open week this week then their last district opponent has 5 wins but that team's OWP is 0.29.

Danville will likely break even in RPI this week with the expected loss to LCA, then has their open week and faces a 0 win 1A school in their last game.

All the top 5 are going to lose points in their district games. I still think it is going to come down to the last week of the season with Beechwood and LCA gaining points if they win over their 6A opponents.

Very solid possibility.
