Ryle scored a touchdown on their first possession. The Tigers capitalized on a fumbled punt to score six points in the middle of the second quarter. Beechwood hits a short field goal with two minutes left. Ryle turns it over midfield. I think this makes the tigers the number two seed in the league.

The Raiders have a really tall, athletic wide receiver, he's gonna be really good.

#11 Calvin Burring with a rushing TD and #2 Landon "Iron Leg" Hackman for a game winning FG to top the Raiders 9-7!

This Beechwood freshman team has continued to improve game by game. They played Ryle in the preseason and it looked like a mismatch in favor of Ryle.

The Tigers have speed and depth at the skill positions. QB is skilled and improving. The team and coaches have overcome injury challenges at the line of scrimmage. I don't know if they can improve enough in these next two games to upset Highlands in the championship game, but I would not count them out.

Glad to see the Birds and the Tigers in a rematch. HMS beat Beechwood in the regular season two years ago and lost in the playoffs. That’s haunted the Birds ever since.

Both teams will be looking for their own form of revenge.
