The Saints are in big trouble from everything I read. As Sapp has said somebody didn't get paid and they are making them pay. This has probably been an unwritten rule for some or many teams, who knows. It's the injury thing that is probably not done by most. The NFL has no choice but to come down hard. Lawsuits for years are going to come from this.

Yep. With all of the emphasis on player safety, it would be the height of hypocrisy to let this go without setting an example.

I think this is much to do about nothing if it's clean. I think about every team in the NFL has something like this. Roddy White was kidding around saying every team in the NFL had it except the Falcons. It's football! This has gone on since back when the nasty (in a good way)Giants defense got called out back in the 80's.

I'm not an NFL Security Investigator so the obvious answer is no. But my point is its not clean because they were paying each other to injure opposing players. And I guarantee some bounties were paid for illegal hits. And before you ask, no I don't have any form of evidence backing that statement up.

This is all a joke. Let me get this right....guys are being paid millions to hit people hard but it's a problem because the Saints paid as much as 10K to knock Favre out of the game and a couple of thousand for someone being carted off the field. At least they get paid. In college you just get some stickers on your helmet.
