Latest Rush Limbaugh Flap

Totally? Probably not. But it's not as bad as what the right makes it out to be in its effort to paint all media as pinko liberals.
Kind of like it not being as bad as those painting Rush as the voice of the right...

Interesting talking point but it shows nothing more than how fickle investors are. Anyone that bailed because of this news wasn't understanding why they were invested anyway.

Or maybe, just maybe they knew how big Limbaugh's audience is and how many potential customers aren't going to be reached because of this.

I doubt it but , yes, maybe. This is common in the stock market. News spikes a stock up or down without good thought behind it.

43 advertisers have dropped their support.

Should it make a difference is the question? I say no. There will never be a president who doesn't have 'unsavory characters' donate to them. If those people want to support him then so be it.

I think it should make a difference. I want my politicians bought by honest, polite unsavory characters.

How many commercials does the guy do in a 3-4 hour show??? Sounds like one long infomercial.

You're right, it's only about 85-88%.

As far as the voice, no. But to dismiss his influence upon the way the GOP does its business is very disingenuous. His is a very loud voice. As is Hannity's, as is Beck's, as is Laura Ingraham's, etc. The fact that GOP politicians are fearful of drawing Rush's ire says a lot about the level of influence he has on the GOP's policy-making.

I wonder if any of them advertise birth-control products.

I don't think so much that Rush is a voice of the right, as he is one that influences liked mined people in what the NEXT thing to be upset about is. I have some Facebook friends and family that are always posting the latest points from the latest Rush or Hannity rant (I know this by googling what they put). I feel that on their own they wouldn't put the A and B together to get C. Those guys connect the dots for them.

Silence is golden for the left. Female Democratic lawmakers refuse to speak out against Bill Maher’s misogynism. Anyone else have a problem with the fact they won't even make an attempt at condemning it?

Warning: The actual words Maher used are said in this video. Female Democratic Lawmakers Refuse to Condemn Bill Maher's Comments About Palin - YouTube

This is just a bait and switch technique.
