Once again, Deters is running his big mouth. Does he really think people listens to what he says and cares about what he thinks? Maybe he should get a part-time job somewhere (WalMart is hiring) until he can go back to his real job. I know for a fact, the Steiner is a fine coach and teacher. He would bet that he puts in more time than most of the coaches in the area. Give him a break! They just laid an egg and got beat. It's not the end of the world.

Unfortunately for the bulldog he is still living off his son's sixth grade basketball team. Yes, that team was good because they had 3 5'11 kids who never grew again after middle school. Those same kids got outgrew and were awful basketball players by the time they graduated. Simon Kenton also had four seniors basketball players (Dj Rabe, Matt Riley, Nick Gray, and one more a name is leaving me) from that same "class" who came from the feeder programs.

Coach Steiner had a great gameplan vs Gallatin. Gallatin beat them by 20 early in the year. Is Jones an idiot because his team was bad for 3 quarters? High school kids get rattled, it is not always the coaches fault.

As Touch The Line stated, you can't really do too much on the sidelines when your team isn't doing what you tell them on D, turning the ball over as well as making a lot of mistakes. Plus, if there is one coach I would not want to face at tourney time in the 8th, it would be Jones.

This was the second 20 point beat down Gallatin gave to Simon. Of course this 20 points was in the 4th quarter. Simon got rattled by a stiff Jones team who never quits from what I saw. Looks like GC was a better team twice this year. It looked like Gallatin got some confidence when they started hitting shots and it wasn't because Simon was playing bad defense.

I heard from a friend of mine from Gallatin I saw at the game, he said that GC also beat SK durring summerball by 30 with only half there team. It sounds to me that Gallatin had their number all year long.
