Super Bowl Commercials

A few got me laughing:

 

"The Dictator" movie promo and the Chevrolet/2012 world ends commercial - I particularly liked them grabbing a Twinkie.

 

The Ferris Bueller takeoff was OK.

 

Coke needs some new ideas. The polar bears need to be put in the zoo.

The promo for The Dictator was pretty much the only thing that made me laugh audibly. The end of the world commercial with the Twinkie made me immediately think of Zombieland, where Woody Harrelson's character was in pursuit of the last Twinkies in the world.

The commercials just weren't that great to watch this year. There just weren't any that got me very wound up. They just didn't do it for me this year.

 

Seriously, I really didn't think they were that good. The Dictator promo was funny though.

Doritos Dogs burying Cat was Good and the Etrade speed dating but many stunk, excepto for GoDaddy and VC Ads.

I am not ashamed to admit that the Monster monkey commercials make me chuckle every year.

How much did Chevy get paid by Frisch's and Hostess for that commercial?

My favorite was the M&M's party commercial

I liked the Bud Light commercial with the dog named Weego.

 

 

I liked The Dictator commercial also.

Overall I thought this year was the worst for commercials in a long time. I kept waiting for one to come on that would make me say here we go, but, none of them did. Closest ones for me would be the Dictator one, and the Dorito one with Dog burying cat.

I am tired of animal and baby talking commercials and that is what 75% of commercials are now. The high school graduate Camaro commercial gave me a chuckle. I will admit I am difficult to please with commercials.

The Doritos ad won the USA Today contest. Guy won $1M for creating it.
