February 1, 201214 yr Sons of Anarchy Family Guy Fresh Prince of Bel Air Entourage I need those four in my life.
February 1, 201214 yr Author I've heard Game of Thrones is amazing. I haven't started it because I'm still contemplating reading the books first. Season 2 starts in April.
February 1, 201214 yr I'd definitely inclue The West Wing on my list. Loved that show. That is my problem. I always forget something.
February 1, 201214 yr I'd definitely inclue The West Wing on my list. Loved that show. That is my problem. I always forget something. Those first few seasons -- when Sorkin was writing all the episodes -- were so tightly scripted it was almost impossible not to be drawn in.
February 1, 201214 yr I'm surprised I haven't seen Lost pop up more. It might be worth another thread, but that show was awful.
February 1, 201214 yr Author I'm surprised I haven't seen Lost pop up more. It might be worth another thread, but that show was awful. Haha I can definitely see why people hate it. I have never been as addicted to a show as I was the first couple seasons of LOST. It did fall off some at the end, but they just spread themselves too thin and made it impossible to tie everything together. Basically I realize it's not on the same level overall as The Wire or Breaking Bad, but for some reason I watched it at the right time and really enjoyed it. That could very well change if I watched it all again right now, but I'm not going to because I don't want to dislike it haha
February 1, 201214 yr I'm surprised I haven't seen Lost pop up more. It might be worth another thread, but that show was awful. The first two seasons of LOST remain probably the most riveted I've ever been to a TV show. But the first half of the third season was so awful it knocks the entire series off of that pedestal.

[/quote'] I wouldn't might revisiting Lost and discussing it in another thread. I agree with Bengals>Steelers, I was very into it for the first few seasons and even though it got a little weird, I still loved it through the end. I think a big reason I liked it so much is because I can't think of a show that did as good of a job developing its characters throughout seasons (mainly due to the flashbacks) than Lost.

I almost made the last sentence in my post about how much I loved the character development.
February 1, 201214 yr Lost seems to be the Tim Tebow of television shows. Loved or loathed. Not much middle ground.
February 1, 201214 yr For current shows, I like the reality shows (Survivor, Amazing Race, occasionally Idol), Modern Family and The Office. The only hour long drama I have cared about in the last ten years or so is 24. I tried LOST but I LOST interest after about year two. Every once in a while I would try to get back into it but it just stopped working for me. For me, LOST is like the X Files - I was totally into it in the first couple years and the longer it went, the less interest I had. For all time, for my top 3 I will go with Seinfeld, Saturday Night Live and Star Trek. If reality shows are allowed, I would probably put Survivor in there.
February 1, 201214 yr Completed Shows 1. Friends 2. Seinfeld 3. Cheers Current Shows 1. Big Bang Theory 2. Bones 3. True Blood/Boardwalk Empire (tie)
