There is no limit per se but a team is limited to 105 maximum on their roster. That is a combination of full rides, preferred walk-ons, and walk-ons.

Just read a great article on Dane Sanzenbacher in the OSU Alumni Magazine. Perhaps Sheehan can emulate him and prove em' all wrong. Sanzenbacher has been proving people wrong for a long time.

Congrats on the offers. I am in the camp that a school should step up and offer full. HHS had a deep receiving unit but in my opinion he was the difference maker. He has speed and hands and made some great adjustments when the ball was in flight. Ozzie go where you will be happy but know this some schools are really missing out. Step up and offer this one would be worth it

I think he's a little small for OSU. JMO. He should probably think about EKU or smaller schools.

The other offers are great, but I think Sheehan should follow his heart and go with the UK preferred walk on. He will be playing where he has always wanted to, be in the best college football conference there is and will have the best opportunity to make an impact on the field.

Don't try and compare Sheehan to Welker. Just because he's 5'9" doesn't mean he's in the same league. Welker was the Oklahoma state player of the year his senior year in high school. I think you're comparing apples and oranges. Just because I'm 5'3" and play basketball, don't compare me to Mugsy Bogues.:eek:

I wasn't comparing him to Wes Welker other than size. I don't even know where Welker went to college but I know he is 5'9". I was arguing your blanket statement he is too small for OSU and he should think EKU. There are many players that are small that turn out to be excellent. The fact OSU, Arkansas, UK, etc offered him a spot on their team tells me they think he has talent, just not enough room for scholarship. You are right though, if he was 6"5" he would have his pick of schools, just means he will have to work a little harder in college.

Looks to me that height doesn't mean that much at wide reciever, especially at Louisville. Of course these teams have taller recievers but this shows that you don't have to be ten feet tall to play in college. Of the players that I have listed , I don't know how many are scholly players, if any.

Wes Welker was undrafted in 2004 out of Texas Tech.
