Pretty well sums up the Bardstown sentiments.

Here is a video shot by my friend that was at the game. http://www.twitvid.com/AVIWV

Thanks for the video! Good stuff!... Goose bumpy emotions from both benches... must've been awesome to be there. You can really feel the pain of the Bardstown coach that was kneeling on the floor in disbelief. A big CONGRATS to the CROSS!!!

Congrats to the Holy Cross boys. I have never been a huge fan of Coach Goetz but I have to take my hat off. He's got a one heck of a team and he's doing a great job this season. Jake Berger is one of my favorite players to watch in this area and I have to say he should be playing somewhere at the next level. Congrats to the Indians!

Brutal loss for my Alma Mater. Hopefully they channel that energy into the District (19th?) and 5th Region to try to get to Rupp.

Congrats Holy Cross.

Holy Cross is now 22 - 2, with 7 games on the schedule do they need to drop a game?

Yes, they will need to drop 1 games of these remaining 7. As far as I know you can play 30 reg season games.

I'd guess Conner would probably be the game that is dropped.

Agree. I believe Highlands, Beechwood and St. Henry are all conference games and must be played, and I wouldn't want to see them drop any of the first three.

Here is what I think is a better shot of the game winner...it shows the clock in the background showing 1.0 and the ball already released from Jake's hand. Courtesy of the Herald-Leader.

Crazy as it might sound, I'd drop the Dixie game. That game if played would be the Indian's 11th game in about a 2 and a half week stretch, you've got a big-time emotional game against the other colonels the night before, and honestly you have little to gain from it other than giving Dixie some game film on you for what could realistically be a potential matchup with them a few weeks down the road in a much more important game. As a fan I would of course love to see this game happen, but as a coach I'd think seriously about dropping it.

Did I hear correctly that HC was down 13 in the 2nd half?

Sorry if this has already been addressed. I'm just now reading all of the posts. Largest deficit was 42-30 until 7:20 of the 4th when Campbell finished an alley oop from Thompson with a dunk to cut it to 10. What's truly amazing about this game other than Jake's shot was that we went 1-13 from the field in the 3rd Qtr and still found a way to win.

Up 16-7 after the 1st and down 42-30 after 3. Wild swings.

End of 1st Qtr was 14-12 HC.

Congrats Holy Cross.

Don't want to jinx the Tigers, but I think they will punch their ticket to Rupp and win the 5th Region. You have a GREAT team and you should be very proud.

Agree with Statman - Solid team, well coached and will get to Rupp IMO as well.
