The Best/Worst Endings to TV Series

Featured Replies

Over the years we've seen some of our favorite shows come to an end for whatever reason. What have been some of the best ways that a TV show as gone out? What have been some of the worst?

I will start by saying that I feel like the ending to ALF, was one of the worst. I looked into it a little and it seems that there was plans for one more episode so that the viewer wasn't left with this huge cliffhanger, but things fell through at NBC and it never happened.

I really liked how Friday Night Lights ended.

I will definitely agree with that one Clizzy. I liked how they kind of gave us some closure, but also still let you wonder how Coach Taylor was going to do. Such a good show and I always recommend it to anyone.

I wish there could have been a Boy Meets World movie or something. The whole gang joining the Peace Core didn't really do it for me.

I would argue and say it was one of the best endings? Especially how they went back into the original classroom and said goodbye to Feeney.

The only people who went on to the Peace Core I believe were Jack and Rachel? The rest went to NY, specifically for Topanga's internship.

Most people hate the Seinfeld finale, but I really enjoyed it.

The finale of the 2004 Battlestar Galactica made me want to tear my hair out. Just awful.

Happy Days was over when the Fonz jumped the shark!

MASH was incredible! I think it set the record for viewership for a while?

Entourage was a terrible ending.

I'm still trying to figure out what happened on Lost

For me, that started after the second season.

I thought the Cheers finale was a great way for it to end. "Sorry, we're closed."

I liked the way they ended The Mary Tyler Moore Show.

I did not like how Quantum Leap ended.
