The 2012 Super Bowl Champs will be

The New York Giants. I really like the way they are playing right now. Go ahead, and write it down. :D

The Giants got a shot...but I'm not getting my hopes up just yet. Even if they pull off the miracle and beat da packers, they still have to go to SF or NO. They made an amazing run in 07...and with Eli anything is possible....but it will be very hard.

At this point I think it has been a fairly successful season for the giants. If you would have looked at me when the giants were down 12 @ Dallas with less than 6 minutes left and told me they'd be where they are now I might have smacked you and called you crazy.

New Orleans Saints. Sure they play better in the dome but they aren't a one trick pony on offense like GB. RBs averaging five per carry and have combined for over 150 receptions. I believe in Breesus.

I've been saying the GMen for about a month now.....no reason to change yet.

I like the G-Men to beat the Packers next week.

Don't get too excited about the ATL win today--"Matty Ice" melts in the playoffs AGAIN!! G-men play like that next week & they're down 21+ @ the half. Love Brees & the Saints, but I'm not sure they can win in the frozen tundra. A New England vs. GB/NO Super Bowl sounds like fun though.

Giants played with (and should have beat) Green Bay earlier this year. They also beat New England on the road. They got a shot...

I am with you all on this. About a month ago I said if the Giants could find away to make it, that they will be a very dangerous team to beat. I think they will beat the Packers, the game that worries me for them is if they have to go to New Orleans. The Saints are such a different team inside that dome.

They are playing just as good as anyone right now. Their defense made the Falcons look terrible. But I have a hard time beliving that any team could get through Packers, Saints, and Patriots/Ravens/Tebow.

I do think the Champ comes from the NFC.

You sure about that?

New Orleans is ranked 24th in total defense and 30th against the pass

Giants are 29th against the pass, Pats 31st and the Packers are 32nd.

Green Bay had 31 interceptions which was 8 more than the next team. The Patriots. The Saints had 9 interceptions.

Eeerily similar to the 2008 SB run.

Playoffs are all about getting hot at the right time, two teams playing next week know more about that than anybody and both have already won Super Bowls in that fashion.

I predicted the Giants to beat the Packers next week, although I think it'll take a near flawless performance (and a poor game by AR).

I'm sticking with my New England over New Orleans pre-playoffs prediction.
