Big thumbs up for Kevin Schwab at Dixie. Announcers should remain pretty neutral during the game, but some in NKY are very much homers. JMO.

Completely disagree. The announcer is FOR the school he's announcing for. You want him to act like he's not?

Why Campbell County FB? I thought Mr. Rose was the PA announcer for football there.

Both are great guys!

As with many things in this world, can tell you the 'bad' ones immediately. The good seem to go un-noticed in my eyes, although most do a really good job.

 

On the naughty list- Grant Co BB. and Campbell Co FB.

 

Why Campbell County FB? I thought Mr. Rose was the PA announcer for football there.

 

Schwab does a really nice job.

 

Even though the sound system has always stunk the legend Jack Kaelin was always good at CCH.

 

I don't know who the guy is at Conner but he does a nice job.

 

Camels football guy? Not my style.

I am kind of wanting to go to a Campbell Co. football game now just to hear this guy. Although based on what I am reading here, I may leave the game before halftime.

I think most people like their teams announcer, or I would think they would get a new announcer.

Not for sure what the gentleman's name is but the guy that does the games at Cooper HS is fabulous and he sings the National Anthem as well. He has a nice, booming voice and he shows emotion and is easy to understand. If anyone knows his name please let me know.

The worst announcer ever does the Lafayette football games and the UK football games.

 

His voice is annoying and his presentation, "first down Lafayette/Kentucky" is even more bothersome.
