Got to question why Western Ky officials were officiating this game. No question Vocke gets hit from behind when ball is about 5 yards from him. Many questionable calls and no calls all night. It's extremely disappointing when a zebra takes a game away from the kids. Extremely hard fought game all night.

I cant imagine how painful this one is for you guys. I think most all understand the penelty calls as being a result of incredible emotion. These guys were told that they were going to be great and they were going to win titles and then it didnt work out and this was the moment that they realized it. Did the hype make it rougher for these kids? I think it likely did and that had to be added pressure on these kids.

Just in from old War Memorial where I witnessed a classic. A few random thoughts as I did from my phone at the stadium earlier. Bw's offense gets all the headlines but their defense was the best times 10 I have seen all year. Nassalbaum (No idea how you spell it) was a tank, what can't that kid do. The Bw defense really shutdown our passing Guhy was 11 for 21 -95 yards and 3 picks. Guhy had not seen that kind of coverage all year. The story of the game though was the Mayfield defense and Jonathan Jackson, he narrowly stole the show from Bw and Nassalbaum. I have no idea how many tackles he had but on offense he was great going for 184 yards. Late in the game when he took direct snaps in the wildcat he was amazing! The Cards defense was also as advertised. Bw managed only 4 first downs all game with 2 in the final series when Nassalbaum scramble. Cards 280 yards to Bws 191 for the night. Cards overcome 3 picks! Vocke 6 carries 2 yards unpfficial

Chill man. I really don't think he's intentionally saying it wrong, hence the spelling? in his writeup. You ought to have heard some announcers this year calling Guhy(pronounced Guy) being called Gewy as in chewy. The KCD announcers on for ihigh did it several times before finally getting it right, so, if broadcast people can get it that wrong, you can imagine what a random poster on here may do.

You are clearly suffering emotionally but atleast you taught me somthing. I now know how you spell Bw's star players name Nussbaum. Now we know why I never excelled in English class. Relax the sun still came up today and will set tonight. I could have hammered you about the Frosh Champs, wanting MY and all the other crap but I don't think this is the time or place. You guys were great, could have won and you guys are hurting now but will look back after some of the sting is gone and realize what a great team you had and what a great season.

I hope that Bw kicker and punter is a senior, that kid is good. I hope he is playing on Saturdays. I hear alot about Vocke on offense but he has never got many carries against us or had many yards. I doubt he has a 100 yards total in the last 3 years against us but on defense he was the best cover guy I have watched this year. Is his future as a db in college? Is the Bw qb okay? He appeared to be in substantial pain and never returned. Hope he is okay

As a Longtime BW fan, those penalties at the end were embarrassing. Coaches should be a calming influence, not try to incite a riot. I was told two penalties on players and two on coaches. I saw the official signal ejection on a coach. I have to say I was not proud to be a tiger fan at the end of that game. An ugly finish to a great game

I think the requirement is 24 hours but I've always seem them reported right after the game.

Congrats to the Cardinals for a huge win over a very fast, and very tuff Beechwood team. Emeperor, relax man, you probably wont see anyone from Mayfield giving anything but praise for the tigers, especially Nusbaum. That kid is a winner. I dont know why Vocke wasn't used more on offense, he is an outstanding running back but his defense supprised me, he was great there to. The Tiger kicking game put us in a hole all night and made it tuff on us, kickers were a big part of the game for Beechwood. What a classic game. As far as the penalties, after the game was over, ALL the coaches I spoke to were very classy and wished us luck next week, that had to be hard for them after such an emotional loss. One of the best games I have had the pleasure to witness.

2 yds on 6 carries. It was apparent early on, he wasn't going to get too many yards on the outside. Mayfield pursues very well on outside runs and have enough speed to contain. Vocke seems more of a finesse runner and he's not going to break tackles like Nussbaum does, who got alot of his straight up the gut or off tackle when they'd spead Mayfields defense out and on runs from the QB position on fake dives and he'd pull it and break the opposite way of the pursuit. On several occassions, Mayfield would have him bottled up and hit him and he'd still find a way to make guys miss or just bull his way for some positive yards. One thing I noticed last night was when the Cards would stand them up at the LOS, the pile would still fall forward for that extra yard or 2. That hasn't happened too many times this year, so, I give BWood credit because they were strong in the trenches. When they tried finesse plays or speed plays, that was playing into Mayfields strength and they weren't having any success on those. I think Rash realized this early on and thats why you didnt see Vocke getting many carries.
