This is true. The two big twins start there in January, they are both Freshman now and are turning into very good players. The 3rd kid, who apparently is not so much of a secret, has the potential to be a star. 8th grader, take that for what its worth, but rumors are he would see time at SK next year as a frosh, RB/Safety type.

I have wanted to weigh in on this play but decided not to mention this just after the game while still painful for the Bwoodians. I have 3 different videos all from 3 different angles of this game. The first is from mid field atop the home stands and is to far away to tell for sure. There is a second that is also inconclusive from afar from the Beechwood side and the video filmed from the camera on the scaffeling in the endzone just a few yards behind the play. Or in otherwords it is a view from just to the left of where this picture is taken and from about 20 feet in the air. The pass was slightly behind the reciever and Vocke adjusted by pulling up and the Cardinal safety then came into contact a mili second after the ball passed by Ross #8. I have watched it about 20 times and this is a great view and at a very close proxcimity to the action and it is still inconclusive. It looks like it is tipped so I then began tryingto decide if the balls trajectory changes after what looks like a tip and if it does is this what causes the pass to be slightly behind the reciever? It's inconclusive. The safety did make contact just after the ball passes #8 and to quickly for it to be an adjustment by the safety but it is clearly contact as a result of Vocke adjusting to the ball and even then it is contact that is pretty close. I don't think it is impossible to get a flag here but it is usually likely not too. My biggest gripe was the call at the .35 second mark. The ball carrier goes down inbounce near the Bwood sideline and carries out of bounce and the officials rule he was out of bounce. It was not even close and it allowed Bw alot more time. The ball carrier does sling the ball out but its after he is on the ground inbounce. Had that play been ruled in bounce then Im not sure we even have the last play no call. Neverless, both teams had numerous chances to win the game, just as the Bw coach noted after the game. Mf was fortunate just as Bw was unfortunate. It just so happens that way sometimes

He was down, and then purposefully threw the ball out of bounds, the refs called it an imcomplete pass, which was a terrible call and the game should have ended there!

No. Nothing Beechwood can do will make them a favorite over Mayfield next year. Beechwood lost 20 seniors and every starter except Nussbaum and Erdman. Mayfield needs to turn their focus on Hazard for next year. From what I understand, they have quite a bit returning next year.
