Last year, there was not a presale for the Harlan County game either. I think with the very short week (HHS only in school Monday and Tuesday)...it is just too difficult to get tickets here to make it worthwhile. Plus, I am not sure if Mrs. Saunders did anything other than sell tickets to the CovCath game last week! Hopefully, LC will have plenty of ticket windows on Friday night. Any other big games going on in Lexington on Friday night? #8 could be a big draw for the UK fans who haven't seen him play yet.

If you look close you will see the brown spots on the upper left top. That would be batters box, 1st,2nd and 3rd base. I guess the question must be asked ................Whos on first?:idunno:

The stands are elevated about 3 feet off of field level. They were also expanded in 2010.

 

The brown spots are turf (not dirt) - that is the softball field layout.

 

But usually only 1 ticket window at front gate.

 

Thanks for info BGC. Turf looks brand new. Stands are higher and better than Dixie and Elder, so we'll be in good shape. They'll be full by 6:15.

Take a good walking stick in case all the teenagers decide to stand along the fence in front of the stands. lol

This Friday's game Mayfield vs Beechwood has pre game sales so it must be something between LC and Highlands.

Parking is limited on the actual LexCath campus. Here is a map with recommendations. Clays Mill Elementary is straight across the street and makes for good parking. If you are looking for a quick exit the side streets work better since exiting the parking lots from LexCath and Clays Mill is slow. Also be careful with new exchange at New Circle Road and US68 (Harrodsburg) it is a "Double Diamond crossover" where all the lanes on US68 are crossed over to eliminate the left hand turns.
