I think this is closer than what people think! I will take HHS by 10 but this could go the other way. I am only going by the fact that they both played Boyle. HHS won 35-14 first game of the season & Lec. Cath. won 20-13 in regular season & 10-7 last week. Good luck to both.

Lexington Catholic senior wide receiver Adam Bush is well aware of Highlands' football tradition and mystique. He knows the Bluebirds have won a bunch of state championships (20) and always seem to be highly ranked and stocked with talent.

Highlands will have to continue to play with the intensity and hunger that it has all season long. The little things usually are the differences in these type of games and with Highlands discipline the little things come naturally.

Sounds as if Bolin-Bush combo is as good as Highlands has seen all yr. Also sounds like Bowling Green used alot of blitzes to disrupt their passing game and shut them down.

Coach Weinrich will have a nice game plan put together to contain the tandem.

The bigger question is can LC stop Highlands offense. Thats when it gets ugly when a team tries to match scores with the Birds...................

I hear Bolin is about as mechanically sound as they come. I may need to change my prediction on the score. LC has some blazers as well.

I really think the Birds D has not gotten the respect they deserve. I think it's optimistic for any opposing team to think they'll (the Birds Defensive starters) will give up three TD's. I guess we'll see who shows up. I do have to say that the D has impressed just as much as the O this season. Weinrich = Genius!

Imo opinion, this is one of the best offenses in Highlands history, I don't think the defense is near the top.

Its ok FTBB, there is nothing wrong with any team being optimistic or people suggesting that the Birds will give up 3 tds. I dont really care if they give up 10 tds just as long as LC gives up 11 tds to the Birds

Also nothing wrong with playing the "no respect" card. Seems to always get the Highlands kids a little more fired up even if their own challenge them from time to time. Keeps them fresh imo.:thumb:

I guess I just like the defensive side of the ball too. I understand the panache and excitement of offense but I read on the back of a ratty ole tee an upperclassman had on when I was in 8th grade and it just said "defense wins!". I truly believe that. I'm not trying to start an argument or get our boys upset, just merely stating the facts, along with my opinion.
