Iowa State 37 Oklahoma State 31 (2 OT)

Featured Replies

Last six days Boise State/ Standford/OSU had to lose in the next two weeks to help Bama, well, it has happened, we win out and guess what? Oregon gave up 40 to LSU. But USC might beat them anyway. LSU has two tough games, and we do have Auburn, so to be honest, who knows?

But I like our team and where we are at, Don't you? Should I wake Mama and tell her the news? :idunno:

Nothing against the Cowboys, but I'm all for another LSU-Bama matchup.

Iowa St earned it. They played really well on D especially! They saved Okl St from getting embarrassed by LSU I think. Bama/LSU 2!

The chances are looking much better now. If Oregon loses to USC tomorrow, things will REALLY get interesting. Regardless of who wins between Oklahoma and Oklahoma State next week, I don't see either of them getting selected due to the teams that both have lost to. Should be fun seeing how it all turns out.

Two best teams in the nation.

27 point underdogs .

If I remember right, Texas Tech was 28 point underdogs against Oklahoma, interesting.

Can you think of the money someone made off this game, you know there was a guy out there that bet on it and one big.

Iowa St was +1650, so to for every 100 bucks you bet on ISU to win straight up you would get 1,650 bucks back. OSU was -3000 so if you bet the cowboys to win the game straight up no spread you would have had to put up 3000 dollars to win 100.

LSU is in the title game even if they lose to Arkansas right? Bama and Oregon are huge LSU fans the rest of the way

ISU now has a chance to go to a bowl, thet are now 6-4 and have the Sooners next week, the Cowboys are off until December 3rd when the play the Sooners, so this was a huge win for the ISU program, second time in three years to make a bowl, they have been pretty bad the last six/seven years, so way to go ISU!

The Seniors/Juniors were recrutied by the Auburn head coach.

ESPN national poll on who should play as the "one loss team" has us at 54% and Oregon 28%, Kirk Herbstreet says Bama will be there if they win out, but don't forget LSU has two tough teams they have to play".

If Oregon wins out, I think Oregon deserves another shot at LSU more than Bama does. Oregon at least lost at a neutral site at the very beggining of the year, while Bama lost late in the year on their own home field. Oregon would deserve it more than Bama IMO, and IMO it also would be a great title game.

Thank goodness Ok. St. lost. It would have been a farce of a title game if they made it.

Oregon gave up 40 once before, and Jordan Jefferson didn't play, so if thats what you want...

Oregon could possibly beat Alabama IMO. Too much offense, turnover producing defense. I don't think Bama has the DLine size to be able to punish Oregon's offensive line like LSU did in week 1.

If Oregon wins out I'd bet $50 they get in.

Bama couldn't get it done on their homefield. Why march them outside Tuscaloosa for a repeat?

Both were one game. Things could change alot in one game.

I don't bet money, but if Oregon wins out and so does Bama, and the Ducks go to the BCSNC game and Bama doesn't, well you take your time and try to give me something I can do, but if Bama does go, you have to do something also... This doesn't count if they both go. But remember the SOS of the SEC compared to the Pac 12 and I'm sure you have.
