Looks like the NKY mafia is voting against us, praying they don't have to make the long drive.

Can you honestly blame them?

That drive is not one that anyone wants to make, but I think everyone connected to the Beechwood team wants to play Mayfield. The poll voting may be just to irritate you guys or maybe fans who won't make the drive if Mayfield wins. But as I have said all year, I can pretty confidently say that Beechwood's team, coaches and fans really, really want to play Mayfield. So go Cardinals ... I am rooting for you big time in this game.

Mayfield by 7.

Holy Cross has more speed than you think. This should turn out to be one of the best games of the week.

Keep rolling Mayfield!! Keep the tradition going of a wkc team beating LHC!!!

I know Ross, Love and Brown are solid receivers, but, Higginson is there best receiver. Wonder why Coach Joe hasn't been using him more, especially on the deeper balls. If he catches a pass, it's usually a bubble screen or quick out. Would seem you could use his speed and breakaway capabilities a little more..

They had, well still have a very dominate big tackle and RB Keen is back as well as a really good TE. I, like everyone else I guess, expect them to use the strength up front to try and play smash mouth football right at us.

Here is a recap pf how they took out Rville

Mayfield 35-22.

From the article that TP posted, it sounds like Holy Cross had their first team in the entire game. Not trying to make alot out of that other than ... it's interesting.

Twenty4seven, I picked up on that, as well. Could be they were playing some of the varsity kids, as well as some of the younger kids, too..
