Cards' unblemished record on the line against once-beaten (6-7 to DeSales early in the season) Holy Cross. Who wins this one?

This will be the 1st game in along time that Mayfield is not guarenteed a victory. From talking to some folks that have seen both teams play in person, it seems that we are much faster than them while they are much bigger. I am sure that they will come into War Memorial with revenge on their mind's from the 59-14 beating last year. I dont think if we played our best it could be like that this year and I think we will have to have one of our better games to beat this squad. LHC will try to run the ball down our throats and take time off the clock. We will do what we do, which is spread the field and pick your poison. I think if we play a good game and dont make turnovers giving them good field postion I like our chance's say in the 28-7 range. If we dont come out hitting all cylinders it might be along night.

It'll be good for the Cardinals to get a challenge and actually get to play the starters more than a half. A few of the KCD folks said LHC would give them a better game, but, felt Mayfield would likely still win by 3 TDs. I think Snake's pretty close on the score, but, I'll say the Cards score 42 and gives up 14..

The KCD folks I spoke with, including the announcer claims this is the best team by far that KCD has faced but that LHC was the second best. We don't come ready to play we will have to buy tickets to BG but this is a very focused team all year and I will be suprised if they are not well prepared mentally and physically. We will be healthy another plus. Cards by 21

That is what I would have guessed - that LHC has you guys on the size side of things and you have them on the speed side. I am with you, I will take speed over size.

Mayfield has good size on the line, just not overly big, but, they're quick off the ball on both sides..

I don't know where you people are getting that Mayfield has good size in the line. This is a very small Mayfield line. Having said that, I think LHC will give us some problems for a little while with their size advantage, but eventually our speed will wear them down from chasing us around the field. Now, if LHC does not have a lot of players going both ways, that will even it out a little more in their favor, but, I think eventually the speed kills. I hope our guys are in good enough shape after all these blowouts to play a whole game. Mayfield by 14.
