Bellevue was in control til they threw and interception for a Frankfort 97 yard t.d. Got to give the Frankfort team for not giving up in the fourth scored 26 unanswered points. JD

Wow. Why was Bellevue throwing the ball there? Was it a long pass play that got picked off and returned? If Bellevue was close to scoring again and threw the pick ... I guess I need more info before questioning the play choice.

Hats off to Bellevue, they played with a lot of heart and control the tempo and ball for 3 quarters.Did a nice job running their offense and controlling the clock. Got to give it to the Panthers they made plays down the stretch to get the win. Got a lot to shore up before next Friday.

Might be the biggest meltdown in Bellevue playoff history. Congrats to the new coach on a solid year and hopefully the young Tigers can work hard in the weight room and have more success next year.

Congrats to the Panthers for digging deep and bringing in the win on vets day... On to the next one!

I don't think it explains it. What was the yardage needed? A 15 pt. lead late in or at the end of the 3rd. You have to be smarter than that. If you can't kick (I don't remember if they have a decent kicker or not) then go for the first down. They were clearly in Frankfort's territory, if not in the Red-zone or closer. I realize its a high-school QB and I don't blame him. Coaches can't put the kid in that situation. Even a mediocre team should be able to protect at 15 pt lead for 1 qtr. And I think Belevue is better than average. You can't make it easy on them.

 

I have never seen Frankfort do anything but fold in 2nd half. So I'm not certain how they did this. I've watched them let at least 3 close halftime games turn into blowouts.

Maybe the Bellevue coaches were playing to win. Maybe they have also watched film and seen that Frankfort has score points in bunches this year.

 

Don't let watching film confuse you. Film don't always tell the full picture.
