trinity is much better than X and Scott but not sure X is better then Scott.

X wouldn't give up 35 total points to Ballard if they played 5 times. X is head and shoulders above Scott Co. IMO.

THIS IS A COMPLETELY FALSE STATEMENT!!!

 

First of all, the Lexington TV stations rarely have an interviewer there at the end of Scott County's games. They usually just send a camera to capture some first quarter footage and then comment on it. There was one single interview mid-season when the TV person baited a Scott County player with the question of, "If you end up facing Trinity in the Championship, what would you say to them ahead of time?" The response was "Be ready Trinity", meaning "Don't underestimate us." How in the heck is that smack?

 

This Scott County team and the seniors specifically are all business and very talented. The only "smack" has been from others about Scott County. That's fine. They're big boys and they can take it, but DO NOT spread false rumors portraying them to be something they are not. Let the next 1-3 weeks play out and judge them based on their performance.

And if Ballard can throw for 400+ yds against SC I am thinking that X (and especially T) can throw for at least that much. T and X each have 2 Qbs that would certainly start at Ballard along with more than a handful of linemen and receivers. In summary, if you give up 35 at home to Ballard this season, then you do not beat T or X.

X is the only team this year with a chance to beat T and you are looking at a very slight chance of what would be a major upset. SC vs. T = not pretty and we will probably get to see that take place.

What people dont realize was SC was without 5 starters on defence in the second half. They started out without 2 starters in the first half. The half time score was 28 to 7. Now the reason we were with out starters was SC's fault, as they had 3 players thrown out. In the condition they were in at the end of the game they would not be able to beat X or possibly Eastern. SC has not talked smack all year and fell apart the second half as far as discipline. The real deal here is to be a good team you must have the discipline that was not shown last Friday Night. Unless SC players get back to business they want make the finals. This is from a big SC fan and supporter.

So those 3 players will not be playing vs Eastern this week either, right?

One may play if SC appeals because he got a raw deal, The other 2 just did the wrong thing after being provoked. SC is young

It was only 2 players, and one did get a raw deal. He repeated the ref's sign for "incomplete" after he busted up a pass and he got immediately ejected. The other will probably be on the bench against Eastern but fortunately they have depth in those positions. Shouldn't be a problem for SC.

There is no one, on paper, including X, that really has a chance against Trinity. If you are saying X is the best team they will face, then I agree. I do know that T has 3 games to go and the score will be 0-0 at the beginning of each one. They are in class by themselves this season (7A?).

No question. Trinity this week and Trinity every week (at least for this year).
