Margin is a bit of surprise but I never really felt this was going to be in doubt. HC has some talent.

I too hope the young man for Owen Cty is ok. While I've seen harder hits I've never seen anything more scarier.

 

Local paper said he was taken to the local hospital and then flown to Cincinnati Children's. He was awake, but unresponsive. It sounds like a scary situation. I hope the kid is OK now.

Congrats to both teams. I thought this was gonna be the result with HC winning big, but OC has some really nice players that can play for any team in NKY. HC has improved drastically since the BW game. That is why you play teams like BW early in the season so you can see what your weaknesses are and address them for this time of year. HC/NCC will be a great game to watch next week. On a side note, the OC fans were some of the nicest fans Ive come across as a visitor to a stadium. Fans in NKY could really learn something from them. After all, its a game and its about the kids. Prayers go out to the young man who was injured last night

Play #1 is actually the first play from scrimmage after the opening kickoff with little Koz taking it 64 yds after a pass from Fuller. Play #2 is the Beal interception. Play #3 is the Fuller 45 yd run for TD near the end of the first quarter. If you notice closely, you can see #5 Bobbie Mingle of OC chasing Fuller. The block on him that caused his injury was slightly off camera, but you can see him in the background later as Fuller runs for the score. Once again, the entire Holy Cross family is praying for his speedy return to health. I also agree with the comments made about the Owen County fans. Very nice and friendly! Whatever they were cooking in the concessions stand smelled fantastic and was very distracting!

Not to surprised. I thought it would be close in the 1st half, and then Holy Cross pulling away pretty good. I tried to say in the prediction thread, that Holy Cross just does things on defense that matched up really well against Owen.
