There is a former Penn State player and Conner graduate in the NKY area.

Pat Pidgeon was the starting punter there for over 3 seasons ... And teaches at Cooper.

He was there from 95 to 99.

I have no clue of his thoughts on the situation ... But he did not come back as remotely similar to when he left.

The winningest coach in major college football history quietly transferred complete ownership of his house to his wife for $1 less than four months before the bombshell sex abuse scandal erupted.

 

Some legal experts believe the move was made to financially shield the Pennsylvania pigskin legend.

As the NYT article states, people will see what they want in the transaction. Two attorneys looked at it, one saw nothing the other saw liability shielding. She's 13 years younger and the house has been involved in multiple complex and confusing transactions over the years it's hard to say what's going on. Since the lawyer's name is the same as Mrs. Paterno's maiden name, looks to me like a brother trying to pump up his billings.

The summary report that was released said he went to his father and Paterno. I would think if he went to the police that might have been in the summary but maybe not.

I think he's going to say since he told Curley and Schultz he talked to the police because one ofthem were in charge of the Police. We shall see.

 

The thing I didn't understand about all the heat he took was it's almost impossible for me to believe that Sandusky wouldn't have quit when McQueary saw him. He almost had to be shocked and quit.
