Final... Ncc won the game with 2 long runs and a deep pass that was covered well, but the hc db was giving up at least 6 inches to the ncc receiver on a jump ball... Game was much closer than the score shows.

Should be a great regional final at Newport.

I believe HC scores were on a long pass and an incredible scramble by the QB. So it goes both ways.

:thumb: I said Holy Cross would need to score at least 30 to win. Looks like they needed 32.

Holy Cross couldn't stop the Breds for nothing or do anything against them in the second half. It was all Breds after halftime.

NewCath seems to make better halftime adjustments than anyone else. Thats all on the coaches and what a great job they seem to be doing. The Breds seem to let teams stay close in the first half them blow them away in the second.

That is what happened last year. I don't see NewCath coming out flat next week. Not after last year's loss

As I sat at the game and watched the NCC DE's and LB's bring pressure every play, even when only 4 rushed, I could have pulled my hair out watching Holy Cross continue to take 5 and 7 step drops and then wonder why Kyle Fuller was running for his life. I don't think I will ever understand the offensive game planning and play calls for HC.:confused: Hightchew ran very hard and really ran the offense well for NCC. It is going to take adjustments to make the playoff game closer, but I don't believe it will take as much as most people would like to think. Can't wait for round 2. :thumb:
