Renner has played T for years when he "didn't have to" and I think he likes to play the best during the season to preparefor regionals.

I believe it is a JCPS-mandated, countywide decision, not Renner or any particlar school. Just IMO. Similar to what LexCath endured for a number of years in Fayette.

He is also upset Trinity has taken some would be Bruins and a Shelby County transfer. Much like football, many more athletes now at Trinity. Interesting to see if this continues, will anyone play them. Ask Lexington Cath about how they were welcomed when they made a similar changes in the early late 1990's and early 2000's....

He really has no ground to stand on there as Ballard has had several kids in the past few years that came from outside the designated feeders and chose to go to Ballard for the better Bball program

Not sure how anyone in Jefferson County considers any kids "theirs" With open enrollment, you can go to any school and see students and/or athletes and/or chess players that live in one district and go to school at another. Is he boycotting Manual? Male? Central? Western? Atherton?

If anyone associated with the Ballard basketball program complains about students and players going to a school that the Ballard folks think that student should not attend, it would be a TOTAL JOKE. The Bruins have many, many, many examples of kids somehow ending up at Ballard from all sorts of wierd angles.

 

The most recent example... one of their best players played varsity basketball for Fern Creek as an 8th grader, then played varsity basketball for Eastern High School in the summer varsity basketball league after his 8th grade year, then showed up on Ballard's campus in August.

I agree, but I should have said now Trinity taking basketball to a new level with type of kids they are pursuing. This has them competing on and off the court with Ballard.

It is on their website.Looks like Louisville Christian Academy and Saint X are only 7th region schools playing them other than district "must play" teams.

I tried that, but couldn't get past fall sports....might be something to do with my network.
