Beechwood 62 Dixie Heights 27

Whose fault is that? I saw the HHS kids and the Dixie kids play when they were younger. At the younger age Dixie had as much if not more talent than HHS. Here is the issue. HHS develops their kids and Dixie does not..Why is that? Who's shoulders does that fall on?

Easy.

No one was assigning fault.

The question was simply asking if Pike would be better if he had better talent (on both sides of the ball) around him.

Yes, he would..That is kind of a silly question. He had the talent around him when he was younger that is my point. Do the kids forget how to block and tackle as they get older at Dixie?

I agree. However, when many on here "compare" they seem to forget that it's not apples-to-apples.

Cmon man...give it a rest.

I think you know the answer to that question.

And as for you, I wasn't running my mouth. Beechwood beat Dixie. Be happy my friend, I'm sure Dixie has put that game behind and is concentrating on their next game. Cohorn had a good game. And so did Vocke and Nusbamm.

I know people like to get on here and brag about their kid but do it without talking smack about another kid. Cohorn had a good game and when you throw the ball 30-40 times a game and 90% of those are to Cohorn I would hope he would put up those kinds of numbers.

I wasn't talking smack about any kid at all. VOR said in an earlier thread that Cohorn got smoked by Nusbaum. And Cohorn got the better of Vocke on some plays. And for your info, Cohorn is not my kid. My three have been graduated for years, and I agree with him getting the ball alot. Just lioke Vocke. Especially when the running game is hurting with injuries. And as I said in an earlier thread Beechwood played a great game. Say what you want and think what you want but the outcome would have been alot closer if it weren't for injuries to Dixie's runningbacks and lineman. Don't worry TouchdownTiger, I'm not saying Dixie would have won. Oh, and Vocke is the real deal, probably the best runningback in Nky IMO.

Zeke Pike was an elite 11 qb Patrick Towels was not. I hit my DVR button and paused the show at the selection time and PT wasnt on the list. Put some players around Zeke and a line to block for him hes completely different. He was hit several times after throws with the 1.5 se he had to throw.

He's certainly making the Elite 11's list now.

For the first time this year two of the Elite 11 quarterbacks faced one another. In a much anticipated game in Kentucky, Patrick Towles and Highlands (Fort Thomas, Kent.) got the best of Zeke Pike and Dixie Heights (Fort Mitchell, Kent.) with to a 61-13 rout.

Thanks for the links, that was a good show and I was wondering how those kids were doing this season.

Towles has had a huge year thus far and with limited opportunity as well.

Pike would have better numbers if he had better talent around him, there is no question.
