With it looking like LA might get back into the NFL, speculation is which team might move there. With the downtrodden Bengals franchise, which would Bengals fans prefer - Bengals stay or Bengals leave and we hope to get another NFL team to come to Cincinnati?

As much as I wanted to vote the other way, I think I would be heartbroken if the Bungals left.

Me too. it would be exciting to have something shiny and new...but I don't want to see them leave. I wish Mike Brown would step down, but who doesnt.

I'd hate to have the team I grew up with gone, and from an economic view any NFL is better than no NFL.

My concern would be getting another team if the Bengals left. I think Cincinnati would have trouble getting a replacement franchise...unless maybe the NFL felt guilty for what the city has been through for the past 20 years.

Cincinnati does not fit the NFL model city IMO. If the Bengals leave, I don't think Cincinnati ever gets another team.

As a non-Bengals fan, I would hate to see Bengals fans lose their team.

I don't live in nor have I ever been to Seattle, but I would be heartbroken if they moved.

ZERO chance another team moves to Cincy.

I roll with the boys I've been rolling with forever.

I could be wrong, but I think Cincy would have a very difficult time getting a new franchise.

How about this question to LA fans:

Would you rather have the Bengals and Mike Brown move to LA or wait for something better? :D

43,000 for the home opener. If those numbers continue, Mike Brown might get the message.

The last time he got the message, he hired Marvin, and gave him the keys. Of course he took the keys back.

Get the Mike Brown family out of here and lets hope that we get a new club.

What is an NFL model city? IMO, it whether or not you can fill up a stadium on a consistent basis. And yes, Bengals fans have done that consistently. They just snapped a really long streak of sellouts.

This town is screaming for a consistently good professional team, IMO.

I agree, look how long LA has been without and that is a large market.

Ticket sales are only a small part of the equation. It is television revenues the league is looking for. In 09-10 Cincinnati was the 33rd largest television market, only 4 NFL teams are from a smaller market. One is going to lose their franchise(Jacksonville) and one is Green Bay which isn't going anywhere. That leaves the Bengals, Bills and New Orleans who almost lost thier franchise a few years ago. Very slim chance the NFL would pick Cincinnati IF they ever expanded again, there are just too many NFL vacant cities with larger TV markets.
