By banning the school-endorsed prayer isn't "freedom of religion" being supported? What about Bell County now supporting the rights of ALL the people?

Correct, but football is a sport, that folks pay admission to see. High School sports is also supported by donations and sponsorships from businesses and individuals. From what I've read the discussion is about the rights of the people.

I don't think we are talking about the Bell County Pop Warner football team here. Donations or not, it is still a publicly funded school.

Then a student or a teacher gets killed in an accident and they have there funeral in the school gym. They do this at publicly funded schools. Matter of fact a popular Bell County teacher a few years back was killed in a four wheeler accident. I'm pretty sure the service was in the school. So was this wrong?

Clyde believes in God, only thinks shouldn't make a scene and try to promote it in public, because our government says so.

 

Someone writes "God is Great !" with spray paint on a wall. I don't believe God thinks that is right at all. The law says thats trespassing and maybe littering. I believe God would want those to express themselves in a way that is not law breaking.

Male High school just added a new entrance. Its overhead and oval and its called "Veterans Memorial Stadium". Its for the Male students who have served in the Armed Forces.

 

On the plaque it states its reason but I saw this part at the bottom..

There is an add in the program about this and at the bottom of the program add it states.

Totally agree, glad to see this from Male. I also agree that it won't be long until some idiot whines about it.

Just read what out founding fathers said about God, putting our faith in him and praying to him. Our country we founded "In God We Trust"! Also, separation of Church and state was not to keep the church out of government it was to keep the government from dictating what church you attended. Our founding fathers let Gods word guid them in running this country from it's beginning and now we want to keep Gid out of our governments decisions. It's no wonder our country is in the shape it's in. Of course there are some of you who will disagree and that's your right but I will witness for God anywhere anytime and I know where I will be for eternity! May God Bless you all
