Cant see Pike accounting for the difference in this one.

Is it time for the Dixie Coaching Staff to turn over the reins to a new group of coaches? I do not believe this tenured group of coaches is getting the most of their kids...time for a change! NewCath out coached and out performed Dixie in all aspects of the game tonight. Pike would not have been a difference maker in this game!

 

You've got to be kidding yourself if you believe the bolded. Offensively, he would've made a big difference. NCC wouldn't have been able to stack the box defensively. Granted, he couldn't do the blocking too as the o-line struggled greatly.

 

Now defensively, he wouldn't have made a difference as he probably wouldn't have played much. The tackling was horrible, and the 3-3-5 scheme just doesn't work. NCC was picking up 5 yards before being touched by a defender. Dixie will again rely completely on their offense this year.

It was men among boys out there. Not the players on the field but the NCC coaching staff -vs- the Dixie coaching staff.

 

Whatever they are selling, looks like the young men are buying. This staff knows how to get the most out of the players they have.

How did Goose Cohorn play for Dixie? One of his avid posters said he had looked good in the 7 on 7s at QB. Sorry I missed this one.

I think Pike makes a HUGE difference and youll see that in weeks to come. Cohorn did a great job but some recievers just missed balls and two happened to be tipped for interceptions, one for a touch down. Cohorn at WR and Pike at Qb and the game changes. Pike gets 4yds a carry falling down and Cohorn catches half of his passes. NCC Pass D gave up some easy balls that were just dropped. Not to mention Hatton will be suited up and ready to be the number 2 WR. NCC played awesome and whipped Dixie but i think with Pike in the game Dixie responds differently.

 

I was very impressed with Pikes maturity as he was picking his teammates up throughout the game, even at the end when it became frustrating for Dixie.

 

Cohorn did the best he could, but NCC was far more physical and mentally tough.
