Trinity is clearly very good.

I think we'll know more about Highlands after they play at Boyle County next week.

Guru, what do you think is the reason behind Trinity being so much better than Highlands? I know you have been quick to downplay Trinity's size advantage or their private school status. If it is not that, then what? Better coaching, harder working kids, more dedicated fan base/community? What?

Trinity's loaded this year, it's that simple.

I agree!

I commented above but I don't mean to downplay size, it matters. Again, Trinity Rocks this year, pun intended.

I don't think this is anything for the Birds to worry about. Trinity is completely loaded this year and may have one of their best teams ever.

I agree, next week should give more of an idea of what to expect.

I refuse to beleive Highlands is bad. Having said that Trinity dominated in every aspect of the game. It will take an extremely good opponent or a poorly focused Trinity to put a check mark in the loss column. I don't think Highlands crossed midfield until 30 seconds left in the 3rd quarter. That's unheard of!

Ranked Rivals #9 in the country. They're that good.

Wow

From everything I've heard, Trinity is all that and a bag of chips. Killer schedule but barring something way out of the ordinary they shouldn't lose to a KY squad this season.

Trinity looked better than advertised! W0W. Big, fast, physical.

What's this business from Raiderbird about Highlands losing most of their offensive line? Did this factor into the poor offense? What's with the field position? Did the kicking game measure up to years past? Who carried the load rushing for the Birds tonight?

I don't know how many were out prior to kickoff but I recall one young man ?#71 go down (but walk off OK).

T did have a handful of sacks I think. Blocking was not stellar. One Highland punt from the end zone went about 10 yards leading to a T fg. I can't help with the rushing question, seemed like more passing plays than runs. I would be shocked if any back had more than 30-40 yards rushing. Two long passes (one in the last minute of the game) was the extent of Highland highlights. Anybody have the game stats???
