Anyone have a favorite brand? My son loves it.

I hate root beer. I know I'm in the minority.

Love, love, love root beer. As far as brands, I actually like the BigK brand, then A&W, then Barq's. But the best is if you can find a place that makes their own and sells it by the jug.

Weird fact:

 

I like Barq's in a cold can only.

 

I like A&M in a bottle only.

 

If you put them in the wrong container I don't like them at all. How weird is that?!

I prefer my root beer (any kind) in a frosty mug. One of my fondest memories was as a little girl, going to the A&W drive in at Kosmosdale and having root beer with my family before seeing a movie at the drive in. My dad would always buy a jug to take home.

Had two brain-farts apparently. First, I meant to say I like IBC in a bottle, not A&W. Second, I called it A&M instead of A&W. Apologies!

Sadly no one close makes their own anymore.

The old A&W Drive-In on the Falls Road in Corbin had the coldest, best root beer I've ever had. I've never had better.
