People were riding my butt, and then when I was trying to get over, to allow traffic on from one of the entrances in the construction area, people would not accommodate my merge, causing me a bit of panic when the car entering was zooming through the yield sign... Seriously?

 

Do at least 70 MPH, or get back on the bus granny. :sssh::lol:

All right, I'll fess up. I was an angry driver today. I was on Route 8 in Campbell Co. today and it was that dang gone Biker day. You know the "Share the Road" guys that don't know how to "Share the road". Takes me 30 minutes to get to where it usually takes me 15. Do they realize I'm coming down on them at 40 miles an hour with 2 tons of steel? And what the heck is with those stupid outfits? Come on. Quit embarassing yourselves.

 

If you haven't guessed , I want to take a passenger door to the bike riders on route 8. There are soo many bike trails in the Greater Cincy area and they have to choose route 8, a two lane country road that is sketchy at best to take a lesurely country ride.

 

How many points is it if I take one down?

 

Sketchy doesn't begin to describe it. I was on Route 8 today between Bellevue and Rt. 547 in Campbell County and the road is literally falling apart. May be the worst stretch of road anywhere around.

 

As for the traffic on 275; I always thought it was pretty tame compared to where I grew up (Baltimore-Washington). Just assume that the whole loop might as well be Ohio anyway, populated by Ohio drivers, and go from there.

Little old lady Louisville driving will get you in trouble on 275 every time.

Nice post it gets crazy when the soccer Moms racing Susie and Johnnie to Pendery Park race against a mob of juiced up Armstrongs in neon color outfits. With that road it is going to be pinball wizard.

Every Saturday morning driving to soccer games at Pendery is the same thing. My favorite are the guys that shouldn't be wearing the tight bike gear, but do anyway.

On a side note, it was nice to meet Birdsfan and RockMom yesterday. I apologize that I couldn't talk longer, but as soon as mass got out my boys took off to the van, and the night before had been a very long night at a birthday party. I am not that spacy...usually.

They try so hard to be like their northern neighbors, all the way down to adopting Ohio folks' terrible driving habits.

Unfortunately, I am not nearly as threatening in my VW bug as I used to be in my big old Toyota Sequoia.

Boy that is the truth! I go almost twice as far with half the gas. Love it!
