Didn't work in game 1.

They have been up around 6 the whole game and just now stretched it out and there is time left still. He has played a good game today but I wouldn't call any of this game clutch.

Why would it be? :lol: Because has scored a few buckets in the middle of the 4th quarter please... They game didn't get to the point where anyone needed to be clutch. He played a good game and set up everyone else and it worked out great. They got beat on the glass and are still going to win.

Is pushing the game out of reach in the 4th not clutch? If the 4th quarter of the conference Finals isn't bigtime then I don't know what is.

Bosh was huge and super clutch last night. But let's be honest unless the Heat are down 2 in game seven of the Finals and LeBron hits a 3 with all five guys on the Mavs guarding him you won't say he's clutch. Even then it wouldn't probably be a lucky shot :lol:.

It is clutch, however not as clutch as most people believe. When people think about people being clutch, they usually think of a player having to be able to make that shot at the very end of the game. The shot with all the pressure is on them, knowing if they miss that shot they most likely lose that game. That is the shot Lebron has missed a lot in his career. He has made A LOT OF HUGE SHOTS in his career in 4th quarters, and shots with about a minute to go to push leads that were say just one or two up to a 4 or 5 point lead to basically put the game away. Which yes those shots are clutch, but I think most of the time when people refer to Lebron not being clutch, they are thinking about basically the ultimate clutch shots which usually happen at the very end of the game. Where your team winning or losing is on the line for that shot. That is something that most people have seen Lebron miss at. However the thing with him is, he still has plenty of time in his career to do that stuff. And as you said has done plenty of other clutch stuff in his career, now that is the next thing people are waiting on.

I think that is fair. Cats response will be that it is still a myth because his numbers are probably reflective of other elite players at the end of games. Also a fair statement. What has gotten me is that in a lot of the situations I think back to, LeBron is always hoisting up a long jumper or three point attempt to win a game instead of playing to his strengths which are overpowering his guy and driving to the hoop and creating from there. Why he has consistently settled for a jumper is beyond me? Not sure he is wanting to prove to everyone he can shoot, does not want to go to the FT line, or whatever it may be.

He did hit the biggest last second shot he has taken. Two years ago against Orlando in the ECF.

If a guy goes 5-8 from the floor and 3-3 from the free throw line in a game that stays a one possession game for the last 5 minutes of the game but misses the last second shot to win or tie he is still clutch. I'd say LBJ has been in his fair share of close games in which he performed well in the 4th quarter but missed the last shot to win it.

DWade has been awful in this series, especially tonight. Maybe the real Big 2 are LeBron and Bosh. I don't ever want to hear the Heat are DWade's team again.
