It sounds like there are 6 candidates.

A freshman coach from Moeller(heard good things about this guy).

A JV coach from LaSalle.

Michael Bradley.

Not sure about the other three but it sounds like Coach Faust has passed on this job.

By the way, take this for what it's worth. Hats off to Bob Rowe for keeping things quiet. Well done.

There is some speculation that Faust has not passed yet.

Again, FWIW.

Maybe he's one of the 6.

Who knows.

I was right the first time. Coach Faust will not be coming to Park Hills.

Any idea on the other 3?

Add Willie Schlarman to the list of individuals who have turned down the job.

Schumate from Beechwood is supposedly going to interview sometime early this week.

Schlarman at Covcath is the equivalent to Pitino going from UK to UL directly instead of having the NBA stint in the middle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do we know the complete list of turn downs?

Do we know the complete list of turn downs?

My guess is there are official turndowns and unofficial-never-offered-but-let-it-be-known-they're-not-interested turndowns.

I said on day one that the choices were going to be limited due to pay and pension issues.

I heard Faust was really thinking about this job, and I am hearing that the person from Moeller is a strong candidate.

WAS is the key word.
