I'm no Celtics fan. :lol: Paul is a drama queen, but a Lakers fan making fun of a player and team for being soft is laughable. He's fans of the softest team in the league. Kobe is a gamer, Artest is crazy, Bynum will bang in the paint with anyone, and Fish flops but he isn't soft by any means.

Bynum is a stick, Kobe is finesse now, and Fish is the biggest flopper in the game. Outside of Artest and Barnes the team has zero toughness.

Bynum is far from a stick he is bigger and bulkier than KG. So is KG soft because he is a stick? It has nothing to do with my "love affair" with the Lakers. They got a stupid reputation based off 1 guy mostly. Now back when they had Sasha, Farmer, and the cave man they were very soft.

I never said he was physical anymore but if he has to be he can. It's not because he can't it's just the smarter thing to do at this point in his career and you have seen him slowly move that way over the last 7-8 years. Something Lebron is going to have to learn how to do. He is far from soft. Being injury prone doesn't make you soft either. Shaq hasn't been able to stay healthy for the last 6 years, is he soft?

I also said Paul was the biggest drama queen in the history of the NBA. Which he is. I have never denied that Pau is getting softer by the minute and that the Lakers are more finesse than power but mentally they're tougher than Boston is. May be too tough mentally as they carry themselves as they are invincible. And being frail and soft are two different things regardless of age. Bo Jackson was frail but I wouldn't call him soft. Shaq is frail now but I wouldn't call him soft(fat and out of shape is what Kobe would call it). Ken Griffey was frail but I wouldn't call him soft. Bob Sanders is frail and I wouldn't call him soft. He whined about James Jones' foul on Pierce. He whined about Pierce's two technicals. He whined about Wade running into Pierce on the screen. He whined about Jermaine O' Neal's foul. He whined about how the Heat played dirty the whole game but they were the victims. The press conference clip I saw he whined all the way through it. I got a better idea Doc, quit whining and tell your team to keep their composure next time. Big old baby.:cry::cry::cry:
May 3, 201115 yr Anyone agree with Barkley that Nowitzki is the best player in this series? I thought he said that Nowitzki will pose a serious problem for the Lakers as no one can guard him and that Phil Jackson needs to figure out how he is going to play Nowitzki(start Odom and bring Bynum off of the bench is Chuck's suggestion). While I don't agree that Nowitzki is better than Kobe(who Charles said is the 6th greatest player ever) I do agree with the rest of his analysis that Nowitzki will make a tremendous difference and if Dallas pulls this off it will gain Nowitzki a lot of respect from me. Nowitzki still won't be better than Bird in my eyes but if Dallas wins this series then that conversation will become louder because much like we will never see another Larry Bird we will never see another Nowitzki either.
