For sure, it's interesting it will be bigs vs guards in this series. No one with the Grizz can hang with Durant but the Thunder will struggle keeping up down low as well.

I don't really follow the NBA, but I know the Grizzles were the 8 seed in the West. What is up with them in the playoffs so far? Did they have injuries during the year?

They started playing better when Gay got hurt. They go through the post now. In the last 40 games before the playoffs they said today that they were 27-11, plus 2 games they tanked at the end of the season, or atleast I think that's what they said. Z-Bo and Gasol are about as tough to defend as a combo in the post as it gets. Plus, Tony Allen and Battier are very good defenders on the wings, and Conley has been very good. They will be tough for anyone, LA included IMO.

I think they could keep him and possibly be a contender. He would have to be willing to let them play through Z-Bo first, but with the team they have now and they way they play they could be a heck of a matchup for anyone. It depends on what Gay is willing to do. The coaching staff has done a heck of a job this year, I'm surprised they've kept OJ Mayo as productive as they have. I didn't think he'd take kindly to going to the bench.

Gay could turn in to a valuable trade if he isn't willing to cooperate and understand the new offense. Memphis post presence though is why they are winning games.

I have thought for years now that Zach Randolph was the most underrated, most under appreciated player in the league so I am glad he is finally starting to see some credit where credit is do. Had some good seasons on those struggling Portland teams, then had some good moments on a bad Knicks team. Finally he is able to get some recognition for being one of the best four men in the league, he does a little bit of everything.

 

 

I know he became a NBA 2K legend at my old apartment, he's def a hall of famer in that realm, I spent many games working people with ole "Zatch" as we would call him. Its funny because the way we always played (started out in high school) was you picked a team at random (couldn't be an all-star team) and thats who you had to play with. Then you got two player trades with random teams, so you would go to player management screen trade a player off your team (normally lowest rated) then randomly land on a team and whichever team you landed on you could get any player from that team. So you may have ended up with the Bucks as your team but if you can get Dwight Howard and Lebron or something like that then you have a team you can work with. Always kept everything fresh and entertaining because the way I always looked at it anybody can play with the same team over and over and get good, the real 2K ballers can play with anyone. I'm talking days of my life wasted sunk into a couch playing that, sometimes with almost twenty of our buddies there getting in on the action. Had some intense games. Seemed like somebody was always landing on the Knicks and playing with Zach Randolph though, but only a few could master how to play with him, but if you can figure Zatch out on 2K he is dominant. He is a 2K hero in my book. Glad to see he is doing it on the big stage in real life now.
